The Lodge of the West Gate of Mark Master Masons No. 1180 welcomed the Provincial Grand Master, R.W.Bro. David Charles Purdie, and a distinguished Provincial delegation to its installation meeting in Barnstaple. The evening featured the presentation of a £500 charitable donation, the installation of W.Bro. Paul Willerton as Worshipful Master, and concluded with a warm and enjoyable festive board enjoyed by all in attendance.

| 6 |  +2Jersey Freemasons are delighted to have supported local disabled golfer Adam Dalton, currently ranked No. 20 in the world, by funding the creation of a bespoke lightweight aluminium travel case for his extra-long golf clubs.
Adam and his mother, Juliette, approached Jersey company Ace Engineering Ltd after repeated damage to his clubs during air travel to overseas competitions. Recognising the importance of helping a talented local sportsman continue competing at the highest level, Ace Engineering designed and manufactured a strong yet lightweight protective case.
The project was funded through the Provincial Grand Master’s Fund following discussions between Freemason Roger Iddon of Ace Engineering, Dave Cartwright who leads the Benevolent Committee, and Provincial Grand Master Tim Dallas-Chapman. The completed case was formally presented to Adam and Juliette at the Masonic Temple this week. | 35 |
| 7 |  +5A Meeting of the Owain Glyndwr Preceptory of Installed Preceptors No. 547 was held by Dispensation on Saturday, 30 May 2026 at the Neath Masonic Hall in the presence of Right Eminent Knight Paul R. Calderwood JP K.C.T. the Provincial Prior of the Province of Monmouth and South Wales of the United Religious, Military and Masonic Orders of the Temple (Knights Templar), Very Eminent Knight Carl D. Davies P.G.Reg, (the Provincial Marshal), Eminent Knight Jamie Ingham Clark KStJ, P.Dep.Gt.SwdB., Prov Chancellor (Ox,Berks and Bucks) and a plethora of Grand Officers, Provincial Grand Officers, Member Knights, Guests and the Provincial Prior’s Bodyguard led by the Deputy Commander, Knight Richard Ackroyd.

| 8 |  +4Sunday, 17 May 2026 saw the Knights Templar Province of Hertfordshire, together with their families and friends, return to the magnificent surroundings of Waltham Abbey for the Annual Service of Thanksgiving and Praise.
The service was once again conducted by the ever-present Team Rector, Reverend Peter Smith, who extended his customarily warm welcome to Brother Knights and their friends and families, and later referred to the service as one of the highlights of his year.
The Banners of each Preceptory in the Province were paraded into the Abbey at the start of the Service and these, along with the Provincial Banner, were subsequently blessed during the service by Reverend Peter Smith.
Having opened the Provincial Bible, the Provincial Prior, R.E.Kt. Alastair White, then read the Precepts of the Order. The Provincial Sub-Prior, V.E.Kt. Michael Beaty, was unfortunately taken unwell on the morning of the service, so the Provincial Vice-Chancellor, E. Kt. Rhys Madoc stepped in and read the lesson. | 77 |
| 9 |  +4St Giles Lodge No 1587 Sesquicentenary and Installation Meeting.
Last night (Wednesday 27th May) St. Giles Lodge, Cheadle held the above meeting at the Hanley Masonic Hall, Shelton. This venue was required due to the high numbers (91) attending. This was a joint Craft and Royal Arch full Provincial visit.
The evening not only saw the Installation of the new Worshipful Master, John Ratcliffe a Grand Lodge Officer and the Sesquicentenary (150 years since consecration) celebration, but the Provincial Grand Master (Head of Staffordshire Freemasons), Jeremy Roberts invested Matthew Adderley as his new Deputy Provincial Grand Master.
Jeremy also presented a Past Provincial Grand Master's Collarette to John Lockley.
A very busy (and warm) meeting was followed by an excellent meal. | 52 |
| 10 |  +4The Province of Spain 🇪🇸 was indeed honoured with the presence of the Most Worshipful Brother Charles Jonathan Aspinell, GCAG, Grand Master, on the occasion of our Court 119 and Provincial Court 10th Anniversary meetings.
A truly memorable and proud occasion for the Order of Athelstan in Spain 🇪🇸
The Province of Spain was deeply honoured by the presence of the Most Worshipful Brother Charles Jonathan Aspinell, GCAG, Grand Master, on the distinguished occasion of the meeting of The Court of Castillo de Rougemont No. 119 together with the 10th Anniversary Meeting of the Provincial Grand Court of Spain.
The meeting was held at Sociedad Compás, Calle Toledo 14, Ciudad Quesada, Rojales, in the beautiful province of Alicante on Spain’s renowned Costa Blanca. Ciudad Quesada is well known for its welcoming international community, Mediterranean atmosphere, and rich Spanish heritage, making it a fitting location for such an important and fraternal occasion.
