On this day, exactly 10 years ago, the Israeli occupation forces bombed and killed four young boys who were playing football at a beach in Gaza.
The boys: Ismail Mohammed Bakr (9), Zakaria Ahed Bakr (10), Ahed Atef Bakr (10), Mohamed Ramez Bakr (11), were all cousins and their killings were witnessed by journalists who were at a hotel only a few hundred metres away.
After international condemnation from certain media outlets, the Israeli forces held an ‘investigation’, however Israel decided that it was not guilty of the crimes it committed.
Israel has been committing war crimes against the Palestinians for over 75 years, this is nothing new.

The Day of ʿĀshūrāʾ also marks the day in which the Grandson of the Prophet ﷺ Al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAlī رضي الله عنه was martyred in Karbala.
We ask Allāh to grant him company with our beloved Prophet ﷺ, and to raise his status above that which is falsely attibuted to him.

Muḥarram 10th is the Day of ʿĀshūrāʾ, which marks the day Allāh saved Mūsā عليه السلام and his people from the oppressive Pharaoh.
Ibn al-ʿAbbās رضي الله عنه reported that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ arrived in Madīnah and found the Jews observing fast on the day of ʿĀshūrāʾ.
The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said to them: What is the significance of this day that you observe fast on it?
They said: It is the day of great (significance) when Allāh delivered Mūsā and his people, and drowned the Pharaoh and his people, and Moses observed fast out of gratitude and we also observe it.
Upon this the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: We have more right, and we have a closer connection with Moses than you have; so Allāh's Messenger ﷺ observed fast (on the day of ʿĀshūrāʾ), and gave orders that it should be observed.

Footballer Anwar El Ghazi has won his case against his former club Mainz 05 after they terminated his contract over his support for Palestine.
A german court found that the player was unfairly dismissed and the club has been ordered to pay El Ghazi’s salary for the nine months since his dismissal on November 3, 2023. This totals €1.7million.
El Ghazi's contract was ended on November 3 because of a post on his Instagram story supporting Palestinians.
Mainz first suspended El Ghazi in October, calling his stance on the war "unacceptable." They lifted the suspension after a few days, warning him and saying he showed "remorse."
But later, El Ghazi posted that he did not "regret" or "distance himself" from his comments and stood for "humanity."
May Allah reward him for his efforts and continue to shower blessings on him.

🚨 The Prime Minister of the Israeli occupation forces, Benjamin Netanyahu plans to avoid a stopover in Europe on his way to the US amid fears that the International Criminal Court will arrest him over the war crimes he has committed in Gaza.
Netanyahu is scheduled to travel to the US where he plans to deliver a speech before the US Congress on July 24. He is also expected to meet US President Joe Biden in the White House.

July 11th marks the anniversary of the #Srebrenica Genocide where 8372+ Bosnian Muslims were executed by Serbian forces, purely because of their faith.
Most of them were young men and boys, they were buried in mass graves, and some of there are bodies are still being discovered.

A recent study by a leading medical journal, Lancet, find that the death toll in Gaza could exceed 186,000. The study adds that factors like diseases will lead to more indirect deaths in the long run, even if the ongoing genocide stops now.

Today marks the 1st of Muḥarram, which means it is the beginning of the new Islamic year.
The start of the Islamic calendar was set by ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb رضي الله عنه, who based the first year when the Prophet ﷺ migrated (made Hijrah) from Makkah to Madīnah.
It is now 1446 years since the Prophet ﷺ's migration to Madīnah, however the date of the Hijrah is not linked with the 1st of Muḥarram.
Al-Muḥarram [ٱلْمُحَرَّم] means forbidden, it is one of the months when fighting is forbidden.
Narrated Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه: The Prophet ﷺ said, “The most excellent fast after Ramaḍān is Allāhs month, al-Muḥarram, and the most excellent prayer after what is prescribed is prayer during the night.”

O Allāh! Lord over all authorities! You give authority to whoever You please and remove it from who You please; You honour whoever You please and disgrace who You please - all good is in Your Hands. Surely You alone are Most Capable of everything.

They all believe in Allāh, His angels, His Books, and His messengers.
They proclaim, “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.”
And they say, “We hear and obey. We seek Your forgiveness, our Lord! And to You˹alone is the final return.”

Bahar Mahroo, who recorded herself pulling hijabs off Muslim women in London and posted the videos of it online, has fled to Israel after being investigated by UK police.
The woman, believed to be an Iranian monarchist shared a post on X with a video of her about to board a flight to Tel Aviv. A quick scroll through her social media accounts shows support for the Israeli occupation and zionism.

Allāh does not burden any soul with more than it can bear. All good will be for its own benefit, and all evil will be to its own loss. The believers pray, “Our Lord! Do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord! Do not place a burden on us like the one you placed on those before us. Our Lord! Do not burden us with what we cannot bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our only Guardian. So grant us victory over the disbelieving people.”
