India and Israel share intelligence and weaponry against Palestinians and Kashmiris. We went into Kashmir to follow the trail.
On 5 August 2019, India revoked Article 370 and took direct control of Jammu and Kashmir, its only Muslim-majority state. The takeover carries chilling echoes of Israeli settler colonialism.
Behind it stands Hindutva, an ethno-religious ideology that now runs India and is embodied by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Its parallel in the Middle East is Zionism, at the heart of the ultra-nationalist politics of current and former Israeli leaders.
Soldiers on the streets. People killed without trial. Sons who disappear. Families driven from their land. We spoke to experts, protesters and families who say their loved ones were abducted and killed by Indian forces.
What we found mirrors, and idolises, Israeli occupation.

KASHMIR: PALESTINE IN THE MAKING. New documentary, coming 26.10.2026
Soldiers on every street. Killings without trial. Disappeared sons. Evicted shepherds.
We got into parts of Kashmir that are off limits to foreign journalists. What we saw looks like a military occupation, and it is getting worse. In 2019 Delhi dismantled the autonomy of India’s only Muslim-majority province. New laws let non-Kashmiris settle and open businesses there. Indian politicians talk about the “Israeli model”.
We followed families split by the border, tribal communities evicted from their land, and victims of militarisation, to ask why Kashmiris call their homeland a Palestine in the making.

Do you remember this photo? Three years ago, Israel bombed Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza and killed over 500 Palestinians.
Health officials stood among the dead and spoke to the world while the horror was still unfolding. Three years on, the genocide continues.
A year later, Germany’s then foreign minister Annalena Baerbock defended exactly these attacks.

Kashmir - Palestine in the Making
We filmed this story before the European Union sanctioned me for my journalism on Palestine. Parts of it were shot in secret in Occupied Kashmir, where open reporting isn't really an option and people take risks just by speaking.
What we found there felt familiar. Checkpoints. Curfews. Settlement policies. A population treated as a security problem on its own land. A government in New Delhi that openly points to Israel as its model.

Entire Military tribunal Files: 1,568 files, 12,000 pages. Incl. exhumation images and testimonies of hundreds of people about Sankaras assassination.
French diplomatic archives: 440 pages of cables. Cables indicating the role of France in the coup against Sankara.
As well as CIA: 104 files, 4,000+ pages.
Looks like a new investigation and documentary.
