Beyond explaining the details of each step in the sadhana, Rinpoche also shared the deeper meaning and symbolism behind the practice, helping me to gain a further appreciation for the practice. One thing that stayed with me was how my understanding of offerings transformed. I developed a much deeper appreciation for the practice of making offerings, understanding them as a skilful means of accumulating merit and creating the causes for wisdom and joy to arise within us.
