In my last YouTube video, I explained the risk of holding dead stocks in your portfolio and why many old multibagger stocks can eventually become underperformers for several years.
During a bear phase, many retail investors follow technical-chart experts who recommend old multibagger stocks simply because they appear to be available at an “attractive” price based on technical charts.
However, buying old multibaggers during a bear phase can become a trap if the underlying business has lost its growth momentum. When the next bull run begins, such stocks may not participate meaningfully and can continue to underperform for years.
Now, many investors are sending me their portfolios for review, and I am concerned to see that 70–80% of the stocks in some portfolios appear to be “dead stocks.”
This is exactly why I keep saying: A stock being available at a lower price does not automatically make it a good investment. What matters is whether the business has the potential to participate in the next growth cycle.👆

Fed Chairman Kevin Warsh indicated that the Federal Reserve may need to raise interest rates further if inflation remains elevated and does not show sufficient progress toward the 2% target.
The Fed is likely to remain data-dependent, with future rate decisions driven mainly by inflation, economic growth and labour-market conditions.

💥 Understand the Difference Between Dead Stocks & Growth Stocks💥
When the Smallcap Index suddenly crashes sharply, means it is retail investors panic selling.Such sudden panic selling can happen once every 1–2 months. During these periods, your portfolio can fall drastically. We have seen similar sharp corrections earlier as well.
But the most important question is how quickly your portfolio recovers when the market recovers.
Many experts say that investors should book profits during such corrections. But this approach becomes different when a portfolio contains a large number of dead stocks.
Even if you book some profit in such dead stocks, many of them may continue to underperform when the market recovers.
Our portfolio, however, has a higher focus on growth stocks from emerging sectors. Such stocks can fall sharply when panic selling starts because investors tend to book profits in stocks that have already given strong returns recently.
But when the market recovers, quality growth stocks from emerging sectors can recover much faster, while "dead" stocks can continue to underperform.
This is why many investors misunderstand the difference between holding a dead stock and holding a growth stock.
Many technical-chart- expert primarily select stocks based on price patterns and charts. But identifying genuine growth stocks requires understanding the company's business, sector tailwinds, management commentary, earnings triggers, execution and future growth drivers — areas that a chart-can not capture.
During the 2025 bear phase, many retail investors accumulated dead stocks which were old multibaggers.
The important point is that every new bull cycle New sectors and new companies can lead the next cycle, while stocks that performed strongly in the previous cycle may continue to underperform.

The outcome of tonight's Federal Reserve meeting will be important for global markets, including equities and gold.
If the Fed increases interest rates, we could see selling pressure in US market.
If the Fed keeps interest rates unchanged, it could provide a more supportive environment for global equity markets.

This is why I repeatedly say that relying purely on technical charts can sometimes lead investors toward dead stocks that have already lost their growth triggers, leaving retail investors trapped for years in dead stocks.💥
