Let’s play a game so you can understand mental images: What’s your first association with the word “Tanzania”?
What do you see? What image is your brain showing you?
First, share the first image that came to mind. Then you’re allowed to google “Tanzania”. This will provide fair results. Share in the comments if your first association was different from what Google showed you.

What is school for? A great reminder and a good talk by Seth Godin. This episode is a great example of using mental images. We’re able to receive so many because his examples are so relatable. If you want to deliver a great speech in English (or any language), make it relatable. That’s why it’s so difficult to sell new ideas or pitch your business. We’re all limited by our personal experiences. What is obvious to you, is not obvious to your audience. The art of sending and receiving mental images is a big part of my methodology. We need to use the language to connect with people. Most people use words to say what they want to say and their words quickly turn into weapons that disconnect those who speak from those who listen. Words must carry meaning. Meaning must be clear enough so we can SEE it. Thus, we use words to paint pictures for people to SEE. Every picture must be relatable. Don’t try to paint pictures of ski slopes to explain “adrenaline” to someone who’s lived all their life in the jungle. They won’t be able to “see” it, even if you use all the right words. https://shows.acast.com/07058b20-e537-4225-9c56-3adf0e2a669a/67c602efd44a2674cd0e84ae

If we could stop pushing and pulling in relationships (all kinds of relationships) and practiced simply BEING, all relationships would transform into something more beautiful and trustworthy. How you’re BEING makes a difference in the world. How you’re BEING speaks volumes. Pushing and pulling is always about controlling someone or something. Being is different. It’s free of expectations. (Most women will understand this language. BEING is what women do best). Happy international women’s day ❤️

You are insanely powerful! But you keep forgetting about your power. You give it away. Stop. Even a small practice can bring you back to feeling calm and balanced. Even a small choice can have a tremendous effect. What I see again and again is that people expect themselves to fail before they begin. They want to try…. And they end up trying, over and over again, expecting every attempt to fail. What if you stop trying and finally commit to doing it? At times when you doubt your power, it’s natural to look for others to give you the magic potion, the missing puzzle piece, the secret knowledge, etc. Everyone who sells any of the above ⬆️ knows how to push your “pain” buttons. They remind you of your powerlessness because they need you to buy their solution. You’ll buy whatever numbs or soothes the pain. I’d advise the opposite. Stay away from those who remind you of your powerlessness. Instead, look for people who inspire you with their choices. Listen to those who are doing it, who are practicing it daily. They will always remind you to take your power back. They will never encourage you to look for someone to “save” you. We need other people to go far. We are not supposed to learn new skills, raise children, or achieve great heights alone. So, look for people, not online courses. Everybody knows your weaknesses. We’re all human. We share the same pains. Just don’t let them tell you that you’re incapable of making up your life the way you want. You’re insanely powerful!

What’s your experience been with technology in the classroom? I vote for pen and paper and we bring it to every class and community session.

BEFORE: I elaborated and implemented 7,5 months regional development program for internal and external sales teams and office staff. This program targets to: - Improve storytelling skills and product knowledge - Inspire the teams, learn to increase client pool, build relationships with clients, prepare for Int. Events, provide real examples of best performing sales people from other regions - Ensure clear understanding of Commercial rules' principles, clarify right approach towards the preparation of events. STEP 1. CORRECT WHAT'S NOT CLEAR (grammar, wording, etc) I elaborated designed/developed and implemented 6 months a 6-month regional development program for internal and external sales teams, and as well as office staff. This program targets aims to: - Improve storytelling skills and product knowledge - Inspire the teams learn to increase their client base client pool, build client relationships with clients, prepare for International Events, and share provide real examples of best performing sales people from other regions - Ensure that sales teams strictly adhere to the Commercial rules clear understanding of Commercial rules' principles, and use the correct approach to event preparation fclarify right approach towards the preparation of events. STEP 2. SAY WHAT YOU REALLY MEAN TO SAY Step 1 above ⬆️ sounds better, but it's still NOT CLEAR what the person is saying and WHY they're saying it. During the session, we discovered that the client actually wanted to say this: I developed a 6-month training program to motivate our sales teams and office staff to improve their performance and help the company retain the best talent. The purpose of the training is to: - Improve their storytelling skills and product knowledge - Review the company policy and remind sales teams to strictly adhere to the commercial rules - Inspire the teams by inviting best performing members of our sales community worldwide to share their success stories TIP: Read both versions out loud to hear the difference. Can you see why the final version is more clear and what makes it easier to understand?
