MY: Buoyed by Wall Streetβs overnight gains and strong domestic earnings, the local bourse is expected to stage a tech-led rally. Sentiment toward local technology stocks will be anchored by VITROX, whose 2QFY26 net profit more than tripled YoY to RM85m (up from RM28.1m), driven by surging AI demand, operational efficiency, and tax benefits. We anticipate spillover fund flows into other tech names, including INARI, MPI, and FRONTKN. Meanwhile, for investors seeking a more defensive stance, consumer plays remain attractive; NESTLE, which posted a 38% YoY jump in 2Q net profit.
