قرأت هذه الآيات في صلاة العشاء اليوم، وخطر ببالي أشياء مختلفة، لكن من أبرزها: یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلنَّبِیُّ حَرِّضِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ عَلَى ٱلۡقِتَالِۚ إِن یَكُن مِّنكُمۡ عِشۡرُونَ صَـٰبِرُونَ یَغۡلِبُوا۟ مِا۟ئَتَیۡنِۚ وَإِن یَكُن مِّنكُم مِّا۟ئَةࣱ یَغۡلِبُوۤا۟ أَلۡفࣰا مِّنَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمࣱ لَّا یَفۡقَهُونَ وذكرني بقوله تعالى: لَأَنتُمۡ أَشَدُّ رَهۡبَةࣰ فِی صُدُورِهِم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمࣱ لَّا یَفۡقَهُونَ -الفقه في الدين لا يبقى في ساحة التنظير بل له أثر واقعي في الميدان، حتى يجعل الرجل بحيث يساوي عشرة ممن عدم الإيمان والفقه الحقيقي -الفقه في الدين هو فهم الحقيقة على وجهها وعدم الاغترار بالظواهر أو التعمق الملهي في الدقائق؛ فزعوا من ظاهر قوة المسلمين وتلهّوا  بالواقع الجزئي عن الحقيقة الكلية، وهو أن قوة المسلمين كلها من الله، وتنبثق من نصره لهم لا غير، فهو المستحق للخوف (أولم يروا أن الله الذي خلقهم هو أشد منهم قوة) نسأل الله الفقه في الدين

In my estimation, Israel won’t invade Gaza until they get a guarantee that a full-scale war won’t start with Lebanon. A ground war on two fronts would be too overwhelming for Israel, especially considering Lebanon’s militias are bigger, better armed, and more experienced than Gaza’s. Israel could wait as long as they need to, but I don’t know what a guarantee/confirmation would look like.

Banu Qaynuqa': violated the pact by assaulting a woman and killing a Muslim man. Banu Nadir: violated the pact by plotting the assasination of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace). Banu Qurayza: violated the pact by giving material support to Quraysh (as recorded by al-Samhudi in his history of Medina) and agreeing to join Quraysh and Ghatafan by opening a southern battle front against the entire community in Medina. Every subsequent violation was worse than the one preceeding it, and the consequences for each differed in severity accordingly.
