distance was on of the things that slowly changed us. selalu ada kata kata penenang like “sabar, bentar lagi ketemu” we kept telling ourselves that it was only temporary, selama masih cinta dan gak berhenti ngabarin, the distance wouldnt matter. but eventually, the distance started to feel heavier than we expected. we missed too many moments, too many little things, and sometimes all i wanted was to simply have you beside me. we just got tired of constantly missing each other.

we loved each other while knowing there was always something bigger standing between us. perbedaan agama akan selalu berat dan gak akan pernah ada ujungnya, ada sih, kalau salah satunya mau ngalah, tapi kalau enggak? 😂 the way both of our parents were against our relationship, tapi ya namanya cinta bikin buta dan tuli jadi yaudah dijalanin aja. baru kerasa when we started thinking about our future seriously. marriage, family, how we’d raise our children, and all the things that came after. we could love each other as much as we wanted, but sometimes love just wasnt enough to make two different worlds fit together.

UTBK, university, career, and eventually the kind of life you wanted to build. i knew you had so much ahead of you, and maybe our relationship just wasnt something you could prioritize anymore. hidup udah mulai serius, pilihan juga udah gak bisa asal, aku juga udah bukan tujuan.
