Learn how to talk to people. Listen to people. Ask questions. Help others. Learn from others. Build real connections.

Because software engineering is not just about writing code. You build things with people, for people, and to solve real problems. And today, AI is becoming a big part of software engineering too. You don’t need to know everything about AI, but you should know how to use it well — to learn faster, solve problems, automate work, and build better things. So for me: Learn. Build. Solve problems. I think you’re right, but you forgot one important part: learning to live with new people. 😂 Especially your dorm mates—living together, dealing with different personalities, and building compatibility is also part of the degree. But honestly, at ASTU, the hardest part is the sun. ☀️😭

What is a degree in your thoughts?! To be honest, these days I don't think a degree means that a person has studied all the subjects mentioned on the document and that they can explain or understand every course written there and so on... because we know the reality! We know how often students attend lectures, how often lecturers prepare for the course, etc... (you know🌚) But the meaning of a degree for me is that the person has really survived cafe meals😁, has really met great people, especially if they had open-minded friends. They learned to survive, they learned that they need to make money and not only rely on their parents, they are inspired, and they are open to any opportunity. That is the meaning of a degree to me!
