When They Call Your Name First
”If your parents call you first in times of difficulty or for any need, do not see it as a burden; see it as a sign that Allāh has entrusted you with an opportunity for His mercy.
Before your siblings, He opened a door for you to serve those who once served you without hesitation.
They sacrificed their time, sleep, wealth, and comfort so that you could be cared for. Now that they are growing old, do not become annoyed when they need you.
Instead, see every call, every request, and every errand as an opportunity to receive the mercy of Allāh in your life.
Being chosen first to help them is not an inconvenience; it is a privilege.
One day the phone will no longer ring with “Mum” or “Dad.” One day, there will be no call for help, no request, no chance to serve them again.
Whoever understands this will answer their parents with gratitude before regret replaces opportunity.”
Guidance for Every Season of Life
”The Qur’ān never changes, yet every time you return to it, it speaks to you in a new way because you have changed.
For the lost, it is light. For the broken, it is healing. For the seeker, it is guidance. And for the one yearning for Jannah, it is the path that leads there.
Sometimes it awakens you with a warning, other times it soothes you with mercy, but it always gives you exactly what your heart needs. Open it, and let it find you where you are in life.”
The Missing Key to True Understanding
“Are we really seekers of knowledge if we wait for everything to be translated into English, yet remain ignorant of the Arabic language?
Allāh says: 'We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur’ān in order that you may understand.’ (Sūrah Yusuf 12:2)
A harsh truth: The barrier between us and true understanding is our failure to learn Arabic.
So take it seriously, register for an Arabic class as soon as possible.”
Hearts Are Shaped by Those We Walk With
“The true friend is the one whose presence makes you feel embarrassed to commit anything that would displease Allāh.
The bad companion is the one whose company makes you feel embarrassed to do what pleases Allāh.
So choose your friends carefully, for a person is upon the way of his companion.”
Dhul Hijjah — Day 9
Aishah رضي الله عنها reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "There is no day on which Allah sets free more slaves from Hell than He does on the Day of 'Arafah." [Muslim].

اللّهُـمَّ إِنِّـي أَسْـأَلُـكَ لَـذَّةَ النَّظَـرِ إِلـى وَجْـهِكَ وَالشَّـوْقَ إِلـى لِقـائِـك
O Allāh,I ask You for the delight of gazing upon Your Face, and the joy of meeting You.
"Before you prepare your luggage, prepare your heart. Before you plan your journey, examine your soul. Out of over two billion Muslims across this earth, Allāh has chosen and invited you, to stand before His House and declare with your entire being:
Labbayk Allāhumma Labbayk... Here I am, O Allāh. Here I am....
My beloved brother, these are the words millions across this Ummah yearn to say, yet not all are chosen to speak them.
Carry patience with you as your closest companion, walk with humility, overlook the mistakes of others and serve the pilgrims where you can.
Keep your tongue constantly moist with Dhikr just as you quench yourself with water, and use every moment to make Du‘ā’, for there are moments in Hajj where a sincere supplication can change a person’s entire life.
Spread Salām abundantly amongst the believers, for you are not merely meeting another brother, you are witnessing the Ummah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ gathered from every corner of the world, united by one faith, one religion, and one purpose.
Return from Hajj carrying the mission Prophet Ibrāhīm عليه السلام carried, the Tawakkul that Hājar lived, and the obedience that Prophet Ismā'īl embodied.”
May Allāh grant every pilgrim an accepted Hajj and a return that is better than the day they departed. Āmīn.

Prepared by Delay, Blessed by Patience
“In life, we long and we plead for blessings we have not yet received, raising hands in sincere Du’ā for them.
But Allāh, in His perfect wisdom, withholds what we ask, not to hurt us, but because our hearts may not yet be ready to carry the weight of the blessing. Trust in His Decree.
What is delayed is not denied; it is being prepared for you, and you are being prepared for it.”
One Sincere Du‘ā’ Can Transform Your Reality
“The Prophet ﷺ said: ‘Nothing can change the Divine decree except Du‘ā’.' (At-Tirmidhī)
And it is reported: ‘A supplication confronts a trial, and they continue to struggle until the Day of Resurrection.’ (Mu’jam al-Awsaṭ)
So do not underestimate it. Your life could change with one sincere Du‘ā’ so why remain silent?
It may be that single Du‘ā’ that lifts your hardship, eases your burdens, and turns your entire life around.
So raise your hands with certainty and patience that Allāh will answer. Then move forward with trust, for He knows what is best for you and when."
The Whisper That Steals Today
Imām Ibn al-Qayyim said:
"Nothing is more beloved to Shaytān [the devil] than a sad believer."
Tarīq al-Hijratain (v.1, p.418)
"Worrying over the past or fearing the future only steals the ability to appreciate the blessings of the present.
Shayṭān whispers sadness into our hearts, but the grateful soul cannot despair, for within our lives lie blessings that many would give everything for.
Place your trust in Allāh and leave your worries with Him, for fear and sadness are only whispers meant to make us forget the abundant gifts of Allāh already surrounding us.”
Death Knocks Without Warning
“Look at your situation in which you’re in; if it is suitable for death and the grave, then continue upon it. And if it is not suitable for both, then repent to Allāh, Exalted is He, and return to what is suitable!” [Ibn al-Jawzī - Bustān al-Wā‘iẓīn | 193]
“How many are looking forward to getting married? How many are looking forward to the birth of their child? How many are enjoying life as it unfolds? How many are indulging in meals and drinks like kings?
Yet we often forget the destroyer of all pleasures, death. None of the above was achieved because death came knocking at their door, while they may have had the next ten years planned out.
Death destroys all plans, so let us begin preparing for it now, starting with seeking forgiveness.”

The Question That Exposes the Heart: Would You Still Serve If No One Saw You?
Q: Where in your current work for the Ummah do you feel the pull of visibility the most?
“This is not a question of impact. It is a question of truthfulness. This question is personal.
The pull of visibility often wears the clothing of sincerity, “reaching more people,” “making a greater impact”, while quietly feeding the desire to be seen.
The real test is this: would you continue this work with the same discipline, the same sacrifice, and the same consistency if it were completely hidden, no acknowledgement, no mention, no trace, placing your full trust that Allāh sees, accepts, and guides through what remains unseen?”
