Alḥamdulillāh, a step-by-step guide to Ṣalāh, with all essential actions and references included, helping you pray as the Prophet ﷺ prayed.
May Allāh accept our prayers and allow us to pray as His Messenger ﷺ prayed. Āmīn.

The Silent Weight of Sin
Imām Ibn al-Qayyim said:
“Do not be fooled if you do not see the effect of your sin immediately, because you may experience its effect after 40 years.”
[Ad-Dā wad-Dawā]
”So let us turn in sincere repentance today, before the hidden consequences of our sins find us tomorrow.
For sins do not vanish with time, they linger silently, their weight waiting to descend when least expected.
Delaying repentance may be the very reason a door of goodness remains closed to us today.”
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
Astaghfirullāha wa atūbu ilayh - I seek the forgiveness of Allāh and repent to Him.
Sleep Is the Brother of Death
”Reflect upon the duʿās we recite before sleeping and upon waking.
Before sleeping, the Prophet ﷺ taught us to say:
*اللَّهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا*
“O Allāh, in Your name I die and I live.”
And when we awaken:
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
“All praise is for Allāh who gave us life after causing us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.”
Every night, our souls are entrusted to Allāh, and our bodies are dead whilst asleep.
Another morning is another mercy. Another breath is another opportunity. Another day is another chance to seek His forgiveness, remember Him, and live in obedience to Him.”
”Some found Allāh at rock bottom, when sin buried them deep and when no one saw them but Allāh.
And others lost Allāh at the top, drowned in luxury and comfort, but forgotten by their own hearts.
This Dunya can deceive you: it can humble you into prostration, or blind you with success.”

FRIDAY CHALLENGE
Empowerment Project: Give Them the Means to Earn
After speaking with our brothers on the ground, they told us what this family needs: the means to earn for themselves and provide for their family, not rely on handouts.
We’re raising £800 for a Zarange bike for a widowed family in Afghanistan. The guardian will use it to earn a regular income for the widow and her children.
Don’t just give aid. Give them a livelihood.
🎯 Target: £800
Donate. Share. Empower.

Allāh explains the nature of many people: they remember Him intensely in hardship, yet become heedless when ease returns.

The Love That Prolongs Sujūd
“The one who is truly in love with Allāh would find it difficult to lift his forehead from prostration, for there is no place more beloved than the place where he is closest to his Rabb.
In that moment, the burdens of the world fade, and the heart finds a peace that cannot be found anywhere else.
The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: ‘The closest a servant comes to his Lord is when he is prostrating, so increase your supplications therein.’” (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)
”A hardship that returns you to Allāh is better than a comfort that makes you forget Him.”

”One of Shayṭān’s greatest deceptions is making you overlook the blessings of Allāh.
Be grateful before you realise, too late, how blessed you truly were.
Stop counting your hardships, and start being grateful for the favours of Allāh.”
May Allāh always have Mercy on Our Mothers
Abū Murra rode with Abū Huraira to his land in al-'Aqīq. When he entered his land, he shouted out in his loudest voice:
"Peace be upon you, mother, and the mercy of Allāh and His blessing!”
She replied, ”And peace be upon you and the mercy of Allāh and His blessing.”
He said, ”May Allāh have mercy on you as you raised me when I was a child.”
She replied, ”My son, may Allāh repay you well and be pleased with you as you were dutiful towards me when I was old.”
[Adāb Al-Mufrad]
What words can truly follow such a beautiful exchange?
May Allāh have immense mercy on our mothers, those who are with us and those who have returned to Allāh and grant us the ability to be among the truly dutiful children. Āmīn
Making the Qur’ān Your companion
”When our phone hits 5%, we panic and search for a charger.
But when our hearts are low, we keep scrolling.
Our phone battery is like our heartbeat when it’s drained, we rush to recharge.
Yet we don’t show that same urgency for our hearts. The true charger for our hearts is the Qur’ān, the words of Allāh.
Let’s make it our priority before our souls run empty and before death comes to us.”

“Be content with what Allāh has given you. He is the One who manages your affairs, provides for you, and knows what is best for you.
Trust in Him, that is the path to the best life.”
Before Every Stage of Your Life, Allāh Already Knew It
”Before your parents named you, He already knew your name.
Before your first Duʿā, He already knew the words that would leave your heart.
Before moments of happiness entered your life, He already knew how much joy it would bring you.
Before the pain that hurt you, He already knew the exact weight your heart could carry.
So trust in Allāh. He knows what you go through, and He knows what you can handle.
Know that He is the Guardian of the believers, the One who protects, guides, and never abandons those who place their trust in Him.”
