“Out of the thousands of blessings Allāh has bestowed upon you, do not allow the one thing you lack to make you forget everything He has given you. We become so consumed by what is missing, what is troubling us, and what has not gone our way, that we overlook the countless blessings surrounding us every single day. Do not let one hardship blind you to a lifetime of blessings. Shift your focus from what you lack to what Allāh has given you, and let gratitude fill your heart.” َإِن تَعُدُّوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ لَا تُحْصُوهَا “And if you were to count the blessings of Allāh, you could never enumerate them.” Sūrah Ibrāhīm (14:34)

He is Preparing You, Not Punishing You “When Allāh chooses you to stand for the truth, know: hardship is not punishment, but preparation for something greater. You will be tested, not to break you, but to forge you into a stronger, purer servant. Trials are a mercy, for they are the mark of being chosen by Him to be used in His cause. ‘If Allāh wills good for someone, He afflicts him with trials.’ Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī Remember, the path of truth is never easy, but every trial is a step closer to His pleasure.”

”If ever you feel down or going through a hard trial, never forget to have a good opinion of Allāh (حُسْنُ الظَّنِّ بِاللَّهِ). He knows your affairs, hears your duʿāʾ and constantly takes care of you. You are never beyond His knowledge, mercy or power. If Allāh were to leave us to ourselves for even the blink of an eye, we would be lost and astray. So trust Him, be patient and never despair of His mercy. اللّهُـمَّ رَحْمَتَـكَ أَرْجـو فَلا تَكِلـني إِلى نَفْـسي طَـرْفَةَ عَـيْن Allāhumma raḥmataka arjū falā takilnī ilā nafsī ṭarfata `ayn O Allāh, I hope for Your mercy. Do not leave me to myself even for the blinking of an eye (i.e. a moment).”

Death Is a Door We All Must Enter The Prophet ﷺ said: “Remember often the destroyer of pleasures: death.” (Jāmiʿ al-Tirmidhī)
Death Is a Door We All Must Enter The Prophet ﷺ said: “Remember often the destroyer of pleasures: death.” (Jāmiʿ al-Tirmidhī) ”How many are searching for a spouse, planning their weddings, awaiting the birth of a child, or mapping out the next five years of their lives? Yet death comes without warning, shattering plans and ending dreams. Do not delay your service to the Ummah. Find a project that supports the Dīn, join ranks with the believers, and dedicate your time to planting seeds of good before you leave this world. Death will not wait until you have free time to serve the Dīn. Prepare for it now. There is no guarantee you will live to see tomorrow. You may be the next soul visited by the Angels of Death.”

Two People You Can Never Replace ”Parents are among the only people who truly want good for you and care for you unconditionally. Life experience can make our hearts harder with age, but not parents. They continue to come to their adult children with the same love, concern and tenderness as though they are still children. Care for them. Respect them. Give them gifts. Sit with them. Be an ear to listen when they need to be heard. Make sincere Du’a for them every day. You may have many people in your life, but you will never find two people who care for your well-being like your parents. If your parents are no longer with you, make Duʿā for them and give charity on their behalf. The meeting with them will come soon, so make them proud by doing good deeds that, by the permission of Allāh, they may share in their reward tomorrow.”

”You are making plans for tomorrow, while the angels of death may already be on their way to you. They will arrive on an ordinary day, while your plans are still unfinished. So focus your steps towards Allāh and what pleases Him, for the meeting with Him is sooner than we think. Leave behind good that outlives you, so even when your heart stops beating, your deeds never stop rising."

The Silent Weight of Sin Imām Ibn al-Qayyim said: “Do not be fooled if you do not see the effect of your sin immediately, because you may experience its effect after 40 years.” [Ad-Dā wad-Dawā] ”So let us turn in sincere repentance today, before the hidden consequences of our sins find us tomorrow. For sins do not vanish with time, they linger silently, their weight waiting to descend when least expected. Delaying repentance may be the very reason a door of goodness remains closed to us today.” أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ Astaghfirullāha wa atūbu ilayh - I seek the forgiveness of Allāh and repent to Him.

Sleep Is the Brother of Death ”Reflect upon the duʿās we recite before sleeping and upon waking. Before sleeping, the Prophet ﷺ taught us to say: *اللَّهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا* “O Allāh, in Your name I die and I live.” And when we awaken: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ “All praise is for Allāh who gave us life after causing us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.” Every night, our souls are entrusted to Allāh, and our bodies are dead whilst asleep. Another morning is another mercy. Another breath is another opportunity. Another day is another chance to seek His forgiveness, remember Him, and live in obedience to Him.”

The Love That Prolongs Sujūd “The one who is truly in love with Allāh would find it difficult to lift his forehead from prostration, for there is no place more beloved than the place where he is closest to his Rabb. In that moment, the burdens of the world fade, and the heart finds a peace that cannot be found anywhere else. The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: ‘The closest a servant comes to his Lord is when he is prostrating, so increase your supplications therein.’” (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)
