| 2 | Ek sawaal. How many pages did you read this month? And how many of them can you recall right now, without opening the book?
Hi everyone, Shubham here.
Six attempts taught me one boring truth. The exam hall does not care how much you read. It only sees what comes back to you in those two hours. Everything in our booklets comes from that one thought.
Most notes follow the textbook. Ours follow the paper. Before writing the Economy booklet, we sorted all 60 Economy questions UPPCS asked in 2023 to 2025 by what each one needed. 20 needed the news. 19 were NCERT-level lines. 13 asked for a year or an order. So the booklet is arranged the way UPPCS asks, not the way chapters are printed. Same with History: in 2025, 10 of the 24 History questions asked you to put things in order, so Part 1 of that booklet is literally called "Put It in Order" :p
Inside every theme:
🟠 An "Asked in UPPCS Prelims" line with every year that theme came. You always know why you are reading it.
🟠 Swap traps: the exact details UPPCS twists to catch you.
🟠 Memory hooks, each checked letter by letter.
🟠 Priority stars: so on a tired day you know what to do first.
🟠 Practice questions in the 2025 format, with a reason for every answer.
Then the part I love most: the One-Minute Revision Sheets. The week before Prelims is not for reading. It is for recalling. So every theme also became one card: 7 to 9 key facts, the traps, readable in about a minute.
Why two separate things? Because reading and revising are different jobs. The booklet is for understanding a theme once, properly. The cards are for seeing it again and again till it sticks. Padhna ek baar, dohraana baar baar.
Don't believe me, check it. The Polity booklet sample and the One-Minute Sheets sample are free, in Hindi and English. Read one theme tonight, close it, then try its card tomorrow morning. You will feel the difference in two minutes.

| 3 | 📖 GS: Most Important Themes | Theme 1 (GS1 Society)
Caste in Urban India: Changing, Not Fading
Starting today, a FREE card on each of the 34 most-asked GS Mains themes, picked from every Mains paper from 2017 to 2026. The next morning, a Value Addition Vault card gives you an example to drop straight into that answer.
🔶 Asked in 6 of the last 10 years
🔶 Mains 2026 asked it word for word: "Is caste disappearing in urban India?"
🔶 One card: core idea, diagram, thinkers, data, ready intro and conclusion
💛 This exam has a second syllabus that nobody prints. Sitting alone in a room for ten hours. Smiling through "kab hoga?" at every family function. Opening the book again the next morning anyway. These cards can't make that easier. They can make sure the hours you put in go to what UPSC actually asks. I wrote about that second syllabus here (Click here to read).

| 13 | Confession: the first thing we made for UPPCS was not notes. It was a spreadsheet. A very boring one :p
Hi everyone, Shubham here.
Many of you know me from the UPSC side. 6 years, 6 attempts, no final list. So when we decided to build for UPPCS, I had one fear. That we would do what is easiest: take UPSC material, print "UP" on the cover and call it UPPCS preparation.
Easy, yes. Honest, no.
So before writing a single theme, we sat with every question UPPCS asked in 2023, 2024 and 2025. All 450. Each one tagged: subject, format, difficulty, and what level of reading it needed. Then we went back 35 years to see which themes keep coming back.
Some of it surprised even me:
🟠 About two-thirds of the paper is straight recall, and one question in three can be answered from NCERT-level reading.
🟠 Marks slip away mostly in pure current affairs and Medieval History.
🟠 UPPCS has asked Bhakti saints in 10 different papers, Himalayan passes in 9, vitamins in 9.
Why am I telling you all this? Because it is the one promise I can actually keep: we will not guess on your behalf.
Abhay (AIR 03, UPPCS 2024) sat with our research team on this map and picked the themes he felt matter most this year. Every booklet and every test stands on it. If the map is wrong, everything after it is wrong. So we spent the most time on the part nobody ever sees. (My eyes still have opinions about that spreadsheet :p)
The list of 76 repeating themes was never meant to be paid. It is here, free, if you missed it.
One small task for tonight: open the list and tick every theme you can explain without looking at anything. The ones you can't tick are your real syllabus for the next six weeks.
Sach bolun toh, this is the least glamorous part of preparation. And the most useful.

| 15 | (Sorry for long text, but I feel some of you need to hear this, as a friend sun lo)
Some mistakes in life appear silly when you are doing them, but are grave. Grave because you carry the consequences thereof to your Grave.
-That time invested in Intoxicants (Daru, cigarettes etc) Or that extra unneeded gossip session, chai time, faltu bahar ghumna "it is like borrowing happiness from tomorrow for today, reducing the share of future" Kab tak numb rahogay? Kab tak bhagogay life se?
- Time/effort invested in that guy/girl who never really cared. Eventually, it has given us so many wounds that when we find someone treating us with respect we feel grateful of that, instead of expecting it as common treatment. Choose better people and peace of mind guys!
-Scrolling on social media (running behind shallow pleasures, you know what I mean)because it is easy thing to do, than taking tough steps. Were you born to scroll?
-Dragging things and not accepting the change and not moving on. Trying to change people a lot. Sorry friends but waqt tha badal jata hain, insaan hain badal jata hain. Promises hain Tut jate hain.
-Seeing the glass half empty always. Like we all surely have good loving people in life, but we let a few people who leave us after results, or treat us poorly, decide our self worth.
While i have done all of the above things, and me being able to accept it is a big growth for me. If you are not a serious aspirant, then koi regret nhi hoga, but if you were a serious aspirant, and were in race for real, then you will cry tears of regret for a long time. Wake up. | 4 927 |

| 19 | QUIZ: PRELIMS PRACTICE
📰 The Prevention of Insults to National Honour (Amendment) Act, 2026 extends the National Anthem's protection to the National Song.
Consider the following statements:
1. The amendment makes singing Vande Mataram compulsory at all official functions.
2. A repeat conviction carries a mandatory minimum of one year's imprisonment.
3. When both are performed, Jana Gana Mana is played before Vande Mataram.
Which of the statements given above is/are correct?
(a) 1 only
(b) 2 only
(c) 1 and 3 only
(d) 2 and 3 only
✅ Answer: (b). The law punishes preventing or disrupting the singing, it does not make singing compulsory. Repeat offence: minimum 1 year (Section 3A). MHA protocol: Vande Mataram comes first.
