KernelSU uapi v6 introduces preinit for preinit, I did NOT implement it part of it is implemented, the in-kernel kallsyms thing, however, its mostly just to appease the API. I don't think it matters much for ngki / kernel built-in. hell, a some of us doesn't even have a /metadata partition

This option has been added however be mindful if youre on 64-bit but with 32-bit support, su can fail. Another is that there can be a bit of an issue for something like rezygisk as they are using 32-bit sys reboot. however, if those are not a problem to you (e.g. youre on a 64-bit-only device), this can help and simplify a lot of code underneath and less symbols will be hooked.

I still see some actually going full manual hooks on KSU and as i pledged from the start that this will always be supported. so here is a small tip https://github.com/backslashxx/KernelSU/issues/5 earlier, I did some tests and if youre using Clang on FULL LTO, you can hint the optimizer to melt and inline ksu's logic on the callsite. however as always this is a hint. as per my tests, even on -O2 on clang 23, the calls are melted. ^ if you use dual toolchains (gcc + clang, select pairs used) dont worry, as long as gcc 4.9 is still supportable it will be supported. I have macro workaround just for gcc 4.9 I'm just gauging on how much I can exploit compiler builtins and such however anything below gcc 4.9 is no go, I really need working _Generic

someone pmd me about updates on ksu and getting detections and shit downstream these things dont exist - selinux_hide implementation is way different, this is waiting on the raw string input and compares using a really fast, lockless cache-coherent yet dumb strstr. (flat realloc flex array protected by percpu hazard pointer) - throne tracker, we dont use fsnotify, we are on rename hook (security_inode_rename, vfs_rename post hook on 6.8+). this is also on a very fast compare, we check for parent dentry and skip calling dentry_path_raw
