Let's talk about liquidity.
And why understanding it will save your account.
Large players in this market — banks, institutions, hedge funds — need to buy and sell in enormous size.
They can't just click buy like a retail trader. They need liquidity.
Large pools of orders sitting in the market to fill their positions against.
Where are those pools found?
Above swing highs. Below swing lows. Behind obvious levels where retail traders cluster their stop losses.
This is why you often see price spike through a level, take out all the stops sitting there and then reverse sharply in the opposite direction.
That wasn't random. That was institutional order flow sweeping liquidity before making its real move.
Next time you see a false breakout, don't get frustrated.
Ask yourself — who just got stopped out there? And where is the real move likely to go next?
When you start seeing the market through this lens, a lot of things that used to confuse you will start to make sense.
