Congratulations to all those who have qualified for CSE Mains 2026. It’s a heartbreak for many, I understand. There are multiple speculations regarding expected cut-off etc. But whatever is done, is done. Devastating it may sound, but you can’t change it. Sharing an old post. In the upcoming days, will post stuff regarding mains preparation. A request- kindly go through ALL PINNED MESSAGES. I have already shared strategies regarding each individual GS and Geography optional paper earlier. I won’t repeat all that. As always, I am here to listen and help you manoeuvre your path by helping correct minor mistakes. But it’s you who has to show determination and dedication and do all the hard work. Ping me at @The_Underwoods for specific questions. Especially those who are dealing with mental health issues also. It’s a tough battle, but it’s worth fighting for. 🦅

Good morning everyone, I know it’s really frustrating waiting for the result. Each day we feel that it might be announced today. Worrying is natural but the way you deal with it can be managed. Once the results are announced, you will have hardly 7-8 weeks left for the mains. At that time, it will he a mad rush. Inspite of all the thoughts you should study now. I know 10 hours isn’t possible presently but 2-3 hours, atleast sitting at the study table, just making notes, revisiting PYQs, flipping through current affairs booklets, all of this can be done and you ahould do. It might sound tough, but it’s not impossible. Above is a quote from a beautiful movie “October Sky”. Please give it a watch if you are not feeling like studying anything. It’s already difficult to dream a dream, working towards that dream is altogether a different challenge. Keep hustling everyone, whatever is possible. 🏹

Greetings everyone, While waiting for the result there are a couple of things which will help you in both scenarios- whether you qualify or not. 1. Study of optional (PYQs) 2. Consolidation of current affairs At this point, when you are anxiously waiting for the result you actually need tostudy something which needs less focus and can give quick results. If you try to study your botes, you will get distracted or fall asleep. Current affairs is something which we either take for granted or we are too afraid of this humongous giant. And true to its nature, it just grows in size each day. You skip newspapers or editorials for a week you will never be able to revisit them. My suggestion would be to take up past months of magazines and practise answer writing for highly expected questions. This way you can be sure of covering up your backlogs without falling in a state of constant worry about the result or in a state of boredom. Just a suggestion if you wish to implement.

Note down the main reasons for present record heatwave:- 1. North Westerly wind advection 2. Urban trap 3. Humidity Multiplier effect 4. Anti cyclonic conditions 5. Reduced snow albedo 6. Soil moisture deficit 7. Core Heat Zone (CHZ) Specific case- Banda district All above are core geography concepts. They are the differentiators between answers written for a GS paper vs those for Geography optional paper. Look up these concepts and memorize them so as to replicate them in your answer sheets.
