18-passenger bus conveying 14 students was involved in an accident yesterday at Balogun, Ikire, Osun State, while travelling from Sango to Ekiti State.
According to available information, two of the students were able to make their way back to Ekiti yesterday, while one student is currently receiving treatment at EKSUTH. The remaining students and a corps member were taken by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to three different hospitals within Ikire for medical attention after the driver reportedly fled the scene following the incident.
*We have been informed that some of the students receiving treatment in the hospitals are being discharged to continue their recovery at home or be transferred to other medical facilities for further care, while those with minor injuries are already on their way back to School.*

Good day, dear students. I want to believe you have started your 6-month SIWES programme by now. If you have not, quickly locate a relevant place to begin immediately.
During the Orientation Programme held in March, you were told that a link would be sent to you where you can fill all the necessary information about your SIWES placement. The form is called the
ASSUMPTION OF DUTY FORM
Let me give you the step by step on how to fill out the form.
Please note that the link will only be available till FRIDAY, JUNE 19TH, 2026 failure to fill the form will mean that you are not on SIWES programme, as the information provided will be used to assign supervisors from the University to you for a visit while rounding off the 6-months exercise.

3. Ensure that you provide the details of the address of the establishment you are attached to with the name and phone numbers of your supervisor in the establishment. You can indicate any landmark around the place

5. Check your submission status by clicking of Check Submissin Status to be sure you submitted.
