New masjid in 6 October City/Shaykh Zayed in Egypt. The masjid they are moving from is the basement of an apartment building that cannot accommodate women. Shaykh Majdi, the Imam, is our dear brother, a student of Shaykh Hasan Abd Al Wahhab and Shaykh Ali Wasifi رحمهما الله. It is one of the few Salafi masjids in the entire country and a number of our youth have spent time there memorizing and learning. The amount needed is relatively small.

Over the last weekend, I was blessed to share some benefits from a forthcoming publication “Fleeing to Allah: The Salaf & the Journey of Inner Growth” which is a primer on the science of the spiritual journey (‘ilm al-sulūk) from the writings of Ibn a Taymiyyah & Ibn Al Qayyim. This book is the second installment in the Medicine of the Hearts Series following after “Winning the War Within”. May Allah make accept it and make it a benefit for the Muslims.
