Russia Brings Back the Admiral Nakhimov: The World's Fastest and Most Powerful Warship Source: Military Watch Magazine A One-of-a-Kind Vessel – The Admiral Nakhimov, a Project 1144 (Kirov-class) nuclear-powered missile cruiser displacing 28,000 tons, is now in the final stages of sea trials following an extensive modernization at the Sevmash Shipyard. She remains the heaviest surface combatant currently in service anywhere in the world. Unmatched Speed – With a top speed of 32 knots, she can comfortably outpace every cruiser, destroyer, frigate, and aircraft carrier operated by the U.S. Navy and its NATO allies. The secret lies in her two KN-3 nuclear reactors, which deliver an impressive 140,000 shaft horsepower. The Kirov class is the only nuclear-powered surface combatant class still operational today. Strategic Endurance – Unlike conventional warships, which gradually lose speed and range as their fuel supplies dwindle, the Admiral Nakhimov can sustain high-speed operations across virtually unlimited distances without relying on replenishment vessels. This gives her the ability to rapidly redeploy between theaters, execute swift strike missions, and reposition to evade counterfire effectively. Primary Mission – Originally designed to hunt NATO carrier strike groups in the Atlantic, the cruiser now carries the Zircon hypersonic cruise missile as its primary armament. This formidable weapon allows the Nakhimov to engage and neutralize enemy assets long before they can get within striking distance, potentially deciding the outcome of a confrontation before the opposing force even has a chance to respond. ⚡️ InfoDefenseENGLISH Web  | VK |  X | InfoDefAll

An impressive wall of text about the specs, but I still remember how Russia lost the cruiser "Moskva": too many Ukrainian drones were circling in the air, the Moskva's radars were overwhelmed, and while the warship's crew was confused - Ukrainian anti-ship missiles hit the cruiser, and soon enough it was lost. Similar fate waits any large surface warship these days - why do you think the US navy keeps a distance from the Iranian coast? Why do you think the Houthis can control the Red Sea? The other danger is the military marine drones that get better with time. Way faster than surface warships. Unless Russia can develop and install some kind of long range laser defenses - Admiral Nakhimov will be in a constant risk in the open sea. #Russia #navy

Spain has included the company Palantir on its blacklist due to concerns about internal security. Other European countries have taken similar steps, as Palantir's reputation regarding gross human rights violations is deteriorating.

The Spanish government does that on one day, and also allows millions of invaders to stay in Spain in an another day. Do not have the memory of a goldfish. Remember all their actions. #Spain #USA #Palantir

Two coppers tracked photographer Alastair Hilton down to a pub just to have a word with him about his tweets criticising the local council. Fuming, Hilton pointed out that only weeks earlier, his daughter had a window smashed in above her head during a burglary attempt while she was asleep – and the police didn't even bother turning up. Now, apparently, they had the time and resources to drag him outside for a grilling over some social media posts about a row over pub tables and chairs. They even read out the legislation they could nick him under if he stepped out of line, and told him he was "on the edge" of committing an offence – even though he'd made it clear he had no intention of organising any protests. So much for free speech in Britain, eh? And as for there being no two‑tier policing – yeah, right.

The most ridiculous Sand War so far. The latest Sand War didn't end in a nuclear war - like a certain country hoped - but some serious damage was done here and there. Currently the Strait of Hormuz is half-open, and the USA demand to open the waterway fully. I will allow myself some optimism and try to predict the future US-Iranian deal. Trump wants to keep his power, and Iran wants to repair the damages. Both sides can make an openly secret deal of staying in their own corners. The USA will return the frozen Iranian money (via US goods) to Iran. Iran will declare that they won't make nukes, but they'll keep their missile industry. Bibi and his mates will try their hardest to reignite the war by provoking Iran. Trump, as much as he wants to keep Bibi happy, will have to remind Bibi that the times have changed, and the USA will have to cut off the weapons supply to Israel. No more bombs to bomb Lebanon. And now - I wait. I am curious what will "rejected" Israel do in the future. #Iran #Israel #USA #peace

⚡🇷🇺🇨🇳 According to Reuters, Russia has agreed to commence secret military training for the Chinese military at the highest level. According to European officials, the secret military training that China conducted for Russian forces last year received personal approval from President Vladimir Putin's Defense Minister, and at least four Russian and Chinese generals participated directly in it. Russia has gained extensive experience in more than four years of fighting in Ukraine, while China, which has a large and technologically advanced military, has not waged war in decades. European officials have become increasingly concerned about defense relations between China and Russia as of late. @medmannews

China and Russia conduct such secret trainings only because they were pushed into each other's embrace. Seems like the Forever Winter timeline is canon IRL. How joyous. #China #Russia #military #training

Some pilot in Morocco chose to lead his plane away from the civies instead of bailing out ASAP. By the time he reached the outskirts - he couldn't save himself. A good man. A good pilot. RIP. #plane #crash

Russia will reliably ensure its security and will continue to increase pressure on Kiev — Dmitry Peskov answered questions on the militarisation of Europe and the EU's promises of new sanctions following the massive strike on Kiev. The massive retaliatory strike by the Russian Armed Forces was carried out exclusively against military and military-related Ukrainian targets, Peskov stated. ⚡️ InfoDefenseENGLISH Web  | VK |  X | InfoDefAll

Seems like Russia doesn't want to back down from the war. Not surprising, despite some reports how Russia is literally out of fuel by now. Oh well. The biggest war in Europe since World War 2 continues. #Ukraine #Russia #war

The Volkswagen is going through some interesting times. Times have changed, and so did the Volkswagen. Instead of sinking together with other German businesses - Volkswagen decided to try two new things at once: building their factories in China, and making Chinese cars in Germany in the future. The story of VW going into China isn't new - the "In China, for China" strategy was implemented to survive economically. VW had to make some deals, buy some shares and technologies. Developing new cars this way is 30% faster and up to 50% cheaper than doing it in Europe, which helps the VW to price the cars competitively against local brands - meaning the VW can stay afloat in China. VW also decided to assemble their new cars in Germany. For the locals it means that maybe the VW won't fire 100.000 workers. For the VW it means much needed profit - which fell by 44% so far. A lot must be done to save the VW. Time will show if the VW can survive these interesting times. #VW #China #Germany #cars
