The Clancy case is almost identical to a case in Ireland from 2020, in which a mother of 3 named Deirdre Morley (also a pediatric nurse) strangled her kids while her husband was at work
Like the Clancy case, the husband showed up just as it was all over, then began courting the media and organising fund raisers within days
Morley was found not guilty by reason of insanity, as she had postpartum, was on a cocktail of SSRI's, and had visited a hospital a week earlier and wasn't admitted

Both incidents also happened on the same date: January 24th
Both women were nurses. Both husbands acted suspicious. Both stories sparked public division. Both sets of kids were 2 boys and 1 girl. Both had the same initials. In the Morley case it was Conor, Darragh and Carla (CDC); in the Clancy case it’s Cora, Dawson and Callan (CDC) | 220 |

I watched this video about a week ago, and it feels especially relevant to the Clancy, Fisher, and Walsh cases.
The video argues that some violent or disturbing behavior may involve more than mental illness or psychology—especially when people describe being influenced by the devil, demons, or outside voices.
KJ questions whether society is too quick to dismiss these claims as purely psychiatric, framing them instead within a broader spiritual battle and the normalization of evil.
From a spiritual perspective, evil can tempt, influence, and deceive—and some Christians also believe possession is real. But spiritual influence does not automatically erase personal accountability. Even when someone appears deeply overtaken by darkness, questions of choice, intent, and awareness still matter.
