Please find the upcoming construction schedule for 3 Jul to 9 Jul 2026.
📍 Diaphragm Wall Construction
* Location: Near River Isles, Blk 162A/B, Blk 161A/B & Blk 160B (below LRT track)
* Works will be carried out throughout the week.
📍 Station Box Construction
* Excavation works in front of Blk 160A/B: Up to 10:00pm
* Strutting, preloading & welding works: Up to 12:00am
* Day shift hacking works: Up to 7:00pm
What to Expect
* Construction noise
* Vibration
* Movement of heavy vehicles and machinery, including during nighttime hours
📌 Please note that the schedule is subject to change due to weather and site conditions.
Mitigation measures, including noise barriers, regular machinery maintenance and close site monitoring, are in place to minimise inconvenience.

| 6 |  🚧 Temporary Service Road Closure at Punggol Gardens 🚧
To facilitate diaphragm wall construction for Riviera MRT Station, the service road along Blk 161A & 161B will be fully closed from end June to end August 2026.
📅 Closure Period
🗓️ End June – End August 2026
🚗 What to Expect
📍 A temporary pick-up/drop-off point will be provided between Blk 162 MSCP and Blk 161A.
👷 24-hour traffic controllers will be deployed to assist and manage vehicle movements along the service road between Blk 160B and Blk 161B.
🚧 Full closure signages will be installed at both ends of the closed service road.
🪧 Additional signages will also be placed at the Punggol Gardens entrance to inform motorists of the service road closure along Blk 161A & 161B.

| 10 | 🚧Upcoming Work at Punggol Meadows – Installation of Recharge Wells🚧
Dear Residents,
Our contractor will be carrying out recharge well installation works to safeguard the ground during deep excavation for the Riviera MRT Station & Tunnels project.
Location & Schedule
• Along Service Road next to Blk 651 – 22 June to 8 August 2026
• Along Service Road next to Blk 649 – 11 August to 12 September 2026
*Recharge wells will be removed in 2030, with full reinstatement of affected areas.
Possible Impacts:
• Dust and noise during works
• Localised lane closures if required
Mitigation Measures:
• Noise barriers installed
• Traffic controllers on site
• Notices & signages for motorists and pedestrians

| 11 |  Lane Closure along Punggol East (Northbound) towards Punggol Central Slip Road
Dear Residents and Road Users,
Please be informed that a lane closure will be implemented along Punggol East (northbound) towards the Punggol Central slip road to facilitate premixing works for the widening of the slip road.
Date: 11 June 2026 (Thursday)
Time: Until 11:30 PM
During the works, residents and road users in the vicinity may experience some noise from construction machinery and paving activities. The project team will make every effort to minimise the impact and complete the works as efficiently as possible.
Traffic management measures and directional signs will be in place to guide motorists safely through the work area. Motorists are advised to exercise caution, follow traffic signs, and expect possible delays when travelling in the vicinity.

| 12 | 📢 Upcoming Ground Improvement Works for Riviera MRT Station Construction
As part of the ongoing construction of Riviera MRT Station, ground improvement works will be carried out in the vicinity of Punggol Gardens and Meadows-Eastdale Estate from June to November 2026, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
These works are necessary to strengthen and stabilise the ground before excavation works commence, ensuring the safe construction of the station and associated structures.
During this period, residents may experience some construction noise due to the use of heavy machinery. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and would like to assure residents that noise mitigation measures will be implemented where feasible to minimise disturbance.
We seek your kind understanding and patience as we carry out these important works to support the future Cross Island Line – Punggol Extension.

| 14 | 🚶♂️ Upcoming Footpath Diversion Along Punggol East
To facilitate diaphragm wall construction works for Riviera MRT Station, the existing footpath between Blk 160B and the Punggol Central–Punggol East junction will be closed from 13 June 2026.
What to expect?
• The existing footpath between Blk 160B and the traffic junction will be closed.
• Pedestrians will be redirected to a temporary footpath along Punggol East.
• Walking distance to the junction will increase by approximately 180 metres.
To assist pedestrians:
• Directional signages will be installed along the diversion route to guide pedestrians safely.

| 16 | 🚧COMMENCEMENT OF PHASE 2 STATION BOX EXCAVATION WORKS 🚧
Dear Punggol Residents,
We would like to inform you that Phase 2 of the station box excavation works will commence in June 2026 and are expected to be completed by October 2026.
Please note that Phase 1 excavation works remain ongoing. During this period, both Phase 1 and Phase 2 works will be carried out concurrently within the worksite. The station box excavation works will be implemented in stages and are expected to continue until Q4 2028.
All construction activities will remain within the designated worksite boundary.
We will continue to implement the necessary mitigation measures to minimise noise, dust, and inconvenience to nearby residents.
