The world may be closer to its greatest civilizational shift than most people realize. For centuries, geopolitics has largely been organized around scarcity. Who controls the oil? Who controls the trade route? Who controls the currency? Who controls the technology? Who controls the land, minerals, capital and information? Scarcity created leverage. Leverage created control. Control created conflict. But what happens when the equation flips? Imagine 2026–2040 becoming the great transition from SCARCITY DOMINANCE → ABUNDANCE LEADERSHIP. America, Canada, Venezuela and Iran together represent extraordinary energy potential. Advanced nuclear adds reliable 24/7 electricity. Fusion potentially opens an entirely new frontier. AI turns electricity into intelligence. Robotics turns intelligence into production. Data centers become factories for cognition. Tokenization turns previously trapped assets into programmable capital. Digital rails allow money, property and value to move globally, continuously and nearly instantly. Automation collapses friction. Energy powers computation. Computation multiplies intelligence. Intelligence accelerates discovery. Discovery creates greater abundance. And abundance changes geopolitics itself. Because when nations can produce more than they must fight over, cooperation becomes more profitable than conquest. The battlefield becomes the marketplace. That remains ours to decide. But can we build it? YES. And perhaps the greatest opportunity of 2026–2040 is recognizing that the technologies capable of changing civilization are arriving at the same moment humanity desperately needs a better organizing principle. The future doesn’t have to belong to whoever controls scarcity. It can belong to those wise enough to multiply abundance - and courageous enough to share its opportunity.
