Still a work in progress. Just to clarify, this is not a crackdown. The card was tied to many accounts, so setting up the payment again while it's down takes time.
📅 Your Expiry Date
Don't worry, your expiry will be postponed to cover the downtime.
For example, say you had 4 months 20 days left and the repair takes 10 days. That would leave you with 4 months 10 days. Since I can't break months, I'll just round it up and give you a full 5 months instead. 🎉
So rest assured, you won't lose out. 🙏

🟢 Spotify — Small clarification: this is not a crackdown, but rather an internal issue on my side. One of my cards got blocked due to too many transactions, so some customers are affected since renewals are no longer automatic. We're currently working on it.

Why Doesn't the Warranty Cover the Full 18 Months?
To be fully transparent, we currently cap all warranties at 1 year maximum so our products as well are always 1 year max even if we foresee it working beyond.
In the past, we offered 2-year and 3-year packages with full-duration warranties. While most subscriptions worked perfectly fine, handling refunds and support for very long warranty periods became extremely time-consuming.
As a result, all our products now come with a maximum warranty period of 12 months, regardless of the subscription length.
This package is still 18 months in duration, so you can essentially view the final 6 months as a bonus period if everything continues running smoothly after the warranty period ends.
