In 2016 the RSA were delighted to welcome Peter Zumthor as speaker of the Metzstein Discourse. Part 1 of the Discourse featured a lecture and overview of Peters work. Part 2 features a conversation between Peter Zumthor and Marion Löhndorf. The Metzstein Disocurse was recorded 13 October 2016 at the Gordon Aiken Lecture Theatre, Edinburgh.

Over 20 years of practice, architects Witherford Watson Mann have developed a reputation for highly considered interventions in historic buildings and substantial additions to the fabric of the city. The Stirling Prize-winning practice discusses recent work on four buildings for unconventional institutions including their extensive remodelling of the Courtauld galleries at Somerset House and Brickfields business centre in Hoxton. This talk was filmed on 26 April 2022 by Giovanni Edwards for the Architecture Foundation.
