I locked myself out of my house today.
Three kids outside with me. Not one of them wearing shoes.
Let me back up, because this morning? This morning I was WINNING. I took the little ones to La Comedia for The Stinky Cheese Man — the play was hilarious, the seven-person cast was incredible. My kids were bathed, their hair dried, and we arrived EARLY. (Turns out food wasn't served until 11:15, so I entertained three children at a table for 45 minutes like a one-woman circus... but still. Early.)
And here's the thing — both can be true. I can love that play, love that I pulled it off... and be completely mommed out by the time we got home.
So home we come. I'm exhausted. Mile-long list of chores staring at me. Then I notice another request came in for the 5-day Rise experience — so I make myself a glass of Rise, drink it down, package that experience up (housework can wait a bit, right?) and shoo the kids out to the car for the post office run.
No keys.
House: locked.
Car keys: inside.
Kids: in socks.
I'll be real with you — moments like this usually break me. One thing after another, the overwhelm gets so loud I just cry. I just need SOME things to go right, you know?
But today didn't go there.
I called my son to borrow his house key — he works about a 25-minute walk from home. And the stroller wagon was still outside. One thing going our way!
So I packed three kids into a two-seater wagon — two of whom are definitely too old for the wagon, but we do what we gotta do. Plus one hardboiled egg, wrapped in a receiving blanket, because child #3 required it. For reasons known only to the child. It was important.
His work is uphill. Most of the way. And I was wearing a warm sweater with nothing appropriate underneath, so I was HOT.
Confession: I am not in shape. On a normal day, that walk would have me short-tempered and miserable, every step feeling like a 10-pound weight on each ankle.
But as we were walking... I noticed something. I wasn't dragging my feet. I was standing tall. Core engaged. Actually loving the feeling of moving, while the wagon inhabitants made their own music. We even stopped to chat with a neighbor, who made sure to let us know she gives out full-sized chocolate bars on Halloween. (Noted. Priorities.)
And when we got to our final hill coming home? I still had enough in me to RUN down it behind that wagon.
This Rise stuff has been game changing for me — as a mom, as an educator, as a housekeeper, as a researcher, and for every other hat I wear in a day. That's been my personal experience, and I don't say it lightly.
If you're curious, I do offer a 5-day experience so you can try it the way I did — $35, shipping included (US only): https://unchainedwings-5day.lovable.app/
No pressure at all. You don't have to choose what I would choose.
| 2 | Not everything that goes wrong has a villain.
Something broke. Money was lost. A promise didn't land the way anybody expected — and the first instinct is to find who did this. Name the fraud. Point the finger.
But one who seeks equity must do equity. That's the price of admission — before equity corrects anything for you, it reads you first. And you look foolish treating something like fraud when it was an accident or an honest mistake. You brought a sword where a scalpel was needed, and equity noticed.
Last week we walked through fraud — including constructive fraud, where nobody even had to lie. This week we take up the lesser claims: accident and mistake. Different doors, different corrections. Knowing which one you're standing at before you act — that's competent self-governance.
On Monday, October 19 at 8 PM ET, my class is "Accident or Mistake: When Equity Will Correct What Went Wrong."
We'll slow down long enough to ask: what actually happened, what was believed, what could reasonably have been done, and when did somebody learn of the problem? Because "I made a mistake" is the beginning of a question — not the end of one.

| 3 | ⏰ Tonight at 8pm ET — and it's not too late to join us.
"Fraud: Intent Isn't the Only Question."
Here's the thing about the word "fraud" — people throw it around fast. Something felt wrong, so it must have been fraud. But can you say exactly *where the line is*? What makes something actually fraudulent, versus just unfair, sloppy, or unfortunate?
Really knowing those boundaries is empowering. And knowing what it actually takes to make things right — not fantasy, not emotional claims, just the clear boundaries — that's more empowering still.
If you haven't written your DOSN yet, this is groundwork: before you put anything in writing, you need to know where the system may or may not have committed fraud against people — and why or why not it was actually fraud.
Come tonight. 8pm ET, $15 — live class, workbook, and 14-day replay included. Sign up here:

| 5 | A deal doesn’t need a liar to hurt you.
Sometimes silence did all the talking.
Most of us think fraud means somebody looked us in the eye and lied. But there’s another kind of wrong — the kind where nobody raised their voice, nobody twisted your arm… you just didn’t know what you didn’t know.
Try this before Monday:
Think of one time you said yes — to paperwork, a notice, a loan, a promise — and later thought, “Wait. That’s not what I understood.”
What did you know then?
What do you know now?
And who benefited from the gap between the two?
That gap is where equity starts asking questions. Not just, “Did they mean to do it?” but “Was it right?”
They can’t correct what they don’t know.
Neither can we.
Monday night in our private class for members, we’re opening that up: Fraud — Intent Isn’t the Only Question. | 290 |
| 6 | Let me plant a seed for my business-building friends.
Most business advice quietly tells you to become somebody else. Copy the script. Match the energy. Build it exactly like the person at the front of the room — and if it rubs you raw, smile anyway.
Or maybe you've never thought about why it rubs you raw. You've never stopped to ask what your strengths even are. You've done every job in the business yourself, followed every system handed to you, and you're still spinning your wheels — not getting anywhere nearly as fast as you think you should. Effort was never your problem. Borrowed tools are.
Eddy sees it differently. His work starts with the Gallup StrengthsFinder, the assessment that hands back your top strengths. Plenty of us took it, read the printout, nodded that's me — and shelved it. Eddy's gift is what happens next: turning what that printout names into how you actually build. Your way of reaching people. Your way of working a week. A business that honors who you were made to be, instead of copying who somebody else was made to be.
He's teaching it on October 17. (Time to come — seeds first, specifics soon.) And no, this isn't a Constitution Education event; it's my friend's.
So why am I telling you about it? Because it changed how I build — everything I run, Constitution Education included, runs different since I stopped building with borrowed tools. And I don't keep something that works to myself. What helps me build honestly, my people hear about. Every time.
If your strengths have mostly lived on a printout — or you've never so much as considered building from them — go ahead and set October 17 aside if this resonates. Comment "update me" below, and you'll be the first to know the moment I have the specifics in hand. Never taken the StrengthsFinder at all? Say so in your comment too — I can hook you up with the information. | 276 |
| 7 | There's a kind of mail that changes the temperature of a room.
An envelope from the IRS. A demand from a credit company. A notice from an agency you didn't know existed. Most of us do one of three things with a letter like that: panic, ignore it, or answer it angry. All three are expensive.
Letters like those have a name — presentments — and there's a steadier way to meet one.
Monday, October 26 at 8 PM ET, Mark joins me for this month's free class: When The Letter Arrives. Mark receives presentments like these, and he'll show how he reads one — slowly, on purpose — before he ever decides how to respond.
It's free, and it's a good place to start if you've been listening quietly.

| 8 | Ever been on the wrong end of a deal where nobody actually lied?
"They didn't mean to. Nobody was trying to cheat anybody."
And yet it still isn't right. So what do you call that?
This Monday night, we slow down the word fraud.
In equity, intent isn't the only question. What was represented? What was withheld? Who was trusted with what — and what did they do with that trust? Sometimes nobody set out to deceive anyone, and there is still something to correct.

| 9 | One more from yesterday's letter — and this is the part people will miss.
Buried in the background of the DOJ release: PPRA requires schools to get prior written parental consent before giving students surveys or evaluations on sensitive topics. And the release names what's on that list — including mental and psychological problems.
Prior. Written. Consent.
Your yes, on paper, beforehand. Not silence treated as permission.
If you've got school-age kids, this is worth knowing before a form comes home.

| 10 | Quick one, because this one matters to a lot of us here.
This morning the U.S. Department of Education and the Department of Justice sent a joint letter to every state attorney general. The substance: under FERPA and the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment, parents have the right to know and be informed of the most sensitive and personal information about their children. They're also taking enforcement action against LAUSD over policies that told staff to keep certain student information from parents.
The principle underneath is one we talk about a lot around here: children belong to their families, and men and women have standing in their own homes.
You don't have to make of it what I'd make of it. See first. Name second — read the letter for yourself: https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/us-department-education-and-us-department-justice-reaffirm-parents-are-not-terrorists-and

🕗 8 PM Eastern
"That's fraud!"
It's a word people throw around pretty quickly when something goes wrong. But equity asks better questions.
Was something false represented as true? Was something material concealed? Did someone act because of it — and were they injured? What did the person making the representation actually know?
And then it gets interesting: what if there wasn't an evil plan at all?
This Monday we're opening Gibson's treatment of actual and constructive fraud — why intent matters, but isn't always the only question. Representations, concealment, inducement, injury, reliance… and why the relationship between the parties can change the whole analysis.
This isn't a class about getting better at accusing people. Quite the opposite — we're learning to slow the word down.
See first. Name second.

| 15 | You shouldn't need a law degree to understand your own rights.
Have you ever opened a book on law, read the same paragraph three times, and STILL wondered what on earth it was trying to tell you? 😂
I've said it many times: I believe equity is the key. But believing that doesn't do us much good if we can't comprehend the principles well enough to recognize them in our everyday lives.
For the last three weeks, we've been working our way through some of the tools of equity found in Gibson's Suits in Chancery.
Tomorrow night, we're bringing everything together, and EVERYONE IS INVITED!
FREE CLASS: You Have More Tools Than You Think
Learning to Recognize Equity in Everyday Life
📅 Monday, September 28th
🕗 8 PM Eastern
🎁 FREE class AND a full workbook!
Here's where things get interesting. Instead of asking you to memorize complicated words, I'm going to give you everyday situations. Together, we'll examine what happened, ask the right questions, and see whether we can recognize the principles of equity at work.
You don't need to have attended the first three classes. You don't need to know anything about equity. And you certainly don't need to read Gibson before joining us.
I'll bring the big scary book. You bring your curiosity. 😂
And because this is the final class of our September series, I'm giving EVERYONE the full workbook, just as I have for our private classes. You'll get to experience the way we learn together at Constitution Education.
Come join us, and invite a friend! Whether you've been studying with me for years or this will be your very first class, there's a place for you.

Sat & Sun October 17th & 18th Brighton Michigan Live meet up taught by Elise
DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU STAND?
We’ve spent years talking about the Estate. The Trust. Private administration.
But there is are steps that comes BEFORE the Trust.
✨STATUS.✨
And when we say status, we’re talking about:
⭐️CAPACITY.
⚙️PLACEMENT.
📚STANDING.
📜📅RECORD.
Who are you?
In what capacity are you acting?
Where are you positioned in relation to the name, record, title, and Estate?
And what remains outstanding that needs to be addressed before you build the Trust?
This is where we begin.
We do not reject the RECORD/NAME. We receive it correctly.
We do not merge with the PERSON. We establish the capacity from which we act with respect to it.
We do not abandon the title. We establish our standing to address it.
Within the private framework we teach, the objective is to understand the relationship between status, standing, capacity, placement, the Estate, and ultimately the Trust—and WHY we believe those foundational pieces should be addressed first.
YOU BUILD THE FOUNDATION FIRST.
Proper capacity.
Proper placement.
Proper standing.
Proper record.
THEN build the Trust.
If you've been watching our conversations and thinking, “I want to do this, but I'm not ready for that step yet,” this meetup was created for YOU.
We’re going to break down the concepts involved in beginning the process—what needs to be understood, what needs to be prepared, and most importantly, WHY.
The foundation first.
The paperwork submitted.
The record established.
Then the fortress is built.
AND YOUR SECURED SEAT UNLOCKS 🔒EVEN MORE.
It also includes access to 80+ HOURS of previous Door One Meetups, giving you an entire library of teachings, conversations, concepts, and foundational material to go back through at your own pace.
80+ hours of additional content included with your seat.
🎟️ONLY 50 LIVE SEATS AVAILABLE🧩
🎲Only 40 online spots left ✨available (not live streamed)
