THE BULL, JESUS & THE GOLDEN CALF Another interesting little connection as I continued reflecting on JFK, the Pickle Factory, and the Matador… BULL = 47 <> JESUS = 74 A numerical reversal. And this brought me back to Scripture. Remember the golden calf — the young bull? In the ancient world, bulls and calves were associated with strength, power, and divinity. The Israelites fashioned a golden calf — a young bull — and began worshipping it. (Exodus 32) Jeroboam established two golden calves, leading the people away from God. (1 Kings 12) And Scripture reveals something even more disturbing. People sacrificed their own sons and daughters to false gods. (Psalm 106:37–38) The Israelites were warned against offering children to Molech. (Leviticus 18:21) These were distinct practices, but all raise questions about the dangers of idolatry. Now consider Jesus. He overturned the tables of the money changers. (John 2:13–16) He confronted religious hypocrisy. (Matthew 23) And he taught: “You cannot serve God and wealth.” (Matthew 6:24) Fast forward to the present day… Remember the Charging Bull on Wall Street? Viewed through Scripture… another golden calf? And the matador… he does not simply confront the bull. He skillfully directs his sword between the bull's shoulder blades, aiming for its vital center. A decisive blow. THE PICKLE FACTORY, JFK & THE MATADOR An interesting little find this morning… I was looking at Q post #1394 from May 17, 2018. An Anon suggested: PICL = Presidential Intelligence Checklist Q responded: “Think Pickle Factory.” It turns out that “Pickle Factory” was an actual nickname associated with the CIA. And the trail leads back to… President John F. Kennedy. In June 1961, following the failed Bay of Pigs invasion, the CIA began preparing a special daily intelligence briefing for JFK called the President's Intelligence Checklist (PICL), pronounced “pickle.” Kennedy had been dissatisfied with the intelligence reporting he was receiving and wanted something clearer, more concise, and useful for presidential decision-making. But here is where the story gets interesting. After Kennedy's assassination on November 22, 1963, the CIA prepared one final commemorative PICL. Inside was a poem Kennedy had quoted during the Cuban Missile Crisis, using the imagery of a bullfight and the matador. “Bullfight critics ranked in rows Crowd the enormous plaza full; But only one is there who knows And he's the man who fights the bull.” Was JFK the matador — the “only one who knows,” the man who fights the bull? In April 1961, Kennedy had warned about excessive government secrecy, censorship, and the concealment of information from the American people. His administration also pursued organized crime and corruption involving public officials. And this brings me to President Trump — the MAGADOR, as Juan O Savin calls him, confronting the bull. Another coincidence? And what about the Charging Bull on Wall Street? Kennedy and Trump — two presidents, different eras, confronting entrenched power and corruption. Could there be a deeper connection? And notice how the poem offers a powerful reminder of the difference between: 1. Those watching from the stands. 2. The one actually standing in the arena.
