⚡️ Summary of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on the progress of the special military operation (as of May 2, 2024) Part 1 ( see part 2 ) The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to conduct a special military operation. ▫️ Units of the “West” group of troops improved the situation along the front line, and also defeated manpower and equipment of the 3rd assault , 30th , 67th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 13th and 31st brigades of the National Guard in areas of populated areas Sinkovka, Borovaya and Kupyansk, Kharkov region. Also hit during the counter-battery fight were: a Polish-made 155 mm Krab self-propelled artillery mount, 155 mm M777 and M198 howitzers made in the USA, 152 mm Akatsiya self-propelled artillery mount, 152 mm D-20 gun and two 122 mm D-30 howitzers. ▫️ Units of the “Southern” group of troops occupied more advantageous positions and defeated the mercenary formations of the “Foreign Legion” , as well as the 79th , 92nd air assault , 46th , 81st airmobile , 28th , 93rd mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 107th and 112th defense brigades in the areas of the settlements of Belogorovka, Grigorovka, Maksimilyanovka, Konstantinovka, Krasnohorivka and Paraskovievka of the Donetsk People's Republic. Enemy losses amounted to up to 270 military personnel, a tank and four vehicles. During the smuggling fight, the following were hit: 152 mm Msta-B howitzer, 152 mm D-20 gun, 122 mm D-30 howitzer, Nota electronic warfare station and three field ammunition depots. ▫️ Units of the "Center" group of troops, as a result of active actions , completely liberated the village of Berdychi of the Donetsk People's Republic, and also improved the tactical situation and defeated the formations of the 59th motorized infantry , 42nd , 47th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the 109th territorial defense brigade in the areas of the settlements Vozdvizhenka, Kalinovo, Sokol, Novopokrovskoe and Progress of the Donetsk People's Republic. We repelled 10 counterattacks by assault groups of the 78th separate air assault regiment , 68th Jaeger , 142nd infantry , 23rd , 24th , 100th , 115th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of Leninskoye, Novokalinovo, Ocheretino, Solovyevo, Semenovka and Netaylovo of the Donetsk People's Republic.
