When I was a teenager my father's father would send me emails(in all caps) talking about our genealogy and ancestors. I would read every single one but never reply. I was too busy kicking a ball and playing games. Every month he would send another one. I would read it and not reply. He kept sending them. Then he died. A decade later I went through my old emails. I wished I could just reply and tell him how much I cared and how much it shaped my life but I couldn't. So I did this instead because one day I know I will join him.
