As reported by Real Clear Investigations, the documents—comprising several dozen emails and internal records made public for the first time by an NIH whistleblower—show that the Gates Foundation worked directly with senior NIH officials over almost 25 years to co-ordinate grant funding and set scientific policy across at least ten federal research programmes.
The whistleblower described the arrangement as "a complete merging of NIH and Gates", adding that the relationship resembled a cartel, also involving the Wellcome Trust. NIH officials did not appear to raise conflict-of-interest concerns at any point in the correspondence reviewed.
The foundation's charitable mission and investment portfolio are closely intertwined. A $55 million investment in BioNTech, Pfizer's Covid vaccine partner, yielded more than $550 million when shares were sold after the vaccine reached market. The foundation also held equity in CureVac, one of several vaccine companies in which it took commercial positions.
Internal planning documents from a 2016 Gates-NIH workshop reveal that NIH Director Francis Collins prepared a minute-by-minute arrival itinerary for Gates, with agency police escorting his three-vehicle convoy on site. A senior Trump administration official, shown the itinerary, said such deference is normally reserved for heads of state.
The disclosures come as Gates is scheduled to give private testimony to Congress. The Gates Foundation and the NIH both declined to comment.

| 11 |  Make no mistake: Under-16 social media bans and "online safety" laws are a Trojan horse for the rollout of digital ID infrastructure for everyone.
No government can prevent children under sixteen from accessing a website, an app, a feature or a device unless a digital checkpoint is erected for everybody. The only way to establish who is a child is to first establish who is not.
That means identity checks for children and adults alike. The system cannot reliably determine whether a user is over sixteen without demanding proof. A passport scan. A driving licence. A digital ID.
Dress it up in benevolent-sounding euphemisms like "age assurance", "online safety" or "child protection" all you want. The operational requirement is the same—users must identify themselves in order to be allowed through the gate.
Which is why the language around these laws is so carefully chosen. Politicians rarely admit outright that they are building an identity checkpoint for the internet. Instead, they claim to be protecting children from pornography, self-harm content, addictive design, harmful algorithms, or whatever else is useful to drive the legislation through.
The child is the sympathetic case used to win public consent. The adult is the one being conditioned to produce credentials to access the digital public square. The objective is not really to protect children from adult material, but to make identity-gated internet access feel routine, responsible and inevitable.
And once that precedent has been established, the category of content requiring verification can expand without any serious redesign of the system.
Pornography becomes social media. Social media becomes video sharing. Video sharing becomes search. Search becomes messaging. Messaging becomes payments. Payments become banking. Banking becomes public services. Public services become the minutiae of everyday life.
At each increment, the expansion is sold as limited, proportionate and necessary. At each stage, opposition is framed as harmful to children, society, public health, or national security. The justification shifts according to the emergency of the day. The digital identity infrastructure embeds itself into every category of daily activity.
Once digital ID becomes the price of entry for social participation, it does not stay confined to the original pretext that introduced it. It becomes a general-purpose control system. A way to decide who may access which service, under what conditions, with what level of monitoring, and with what consequences for falling out of good standing.
At that point, digital ID is no longer a tool for keeping children away from harmful content. It is the operating system for a controlled society. And the question is no longer whether you are old enough to access a website. It is whether the system deems you eligible to participate in society at all.

You cannot stop under-16s from accessing a website without checking the age of everyone who visits it. And you cannot check everyone's age without forcing them to prove who they are.
"Child safety" is the cheese in the mousetrap.
Laws sold under the banner of "child protection" constitute a Trojan horse for a system requiring every adult to verify their identity before they can speak, read, or post online. The child is merely an emotional shield. The adult is the real target.
And once that infrastructure exists, the pretext can be swapped out at will.
Today it is pornography, social media and "harmful content". Tomorrow it is messaging apps and online banking. Soon after it is your ability to access the internet at all—each incremental step gated behind a digital ID you are required to keep in good standing.
It's no accident that the exact same "online safety" agenda is being rolled out across the entire Western world simultaneously, with each national government reaching for a slightly different pretext to justify the same outcome—a verified digital identity standing between you and the open internet.
Different countries. Different pretexts. Same infrastructure.
They are not building a system to keep children safe. They are building the identity layer for a permission-based internet—orchestrated from the supranational level by people you never elected—where access to information itself becomes conditional on obedience.
The point is not to make the internet safer. The point is to make anonymous access impossible.
Because a person who can read, speak, organise and dissent anonymously is difficult to control. A person whose most intimate online activity is anchored to a state-monitored digital ID is not.
Once every account, search, post, payment, message and website visit is tied to a verified identity, the internet stops being a public square and becomes a monitored enclosure.
But the gate only closes if people accept "online safety" laws at face value.
