CBDCs will be used to restrict access to funds, freeze accounts, or impose blacklists, giving governments unprecedented control over citizens’ financial lives. 4. Lack of anonymity: Unlike cash, CBDCs do not provide the same level of privacy, making it easier for governments to identify and track individuals. 5. Dependence on government: CBDCs are issued and controlled by central banks, which will lead to a loss of financial independence and autonomy for citizens. - Governments should not implement their CBDC plans, designs, and implementation. - CBDCs should not exist ... ever. - Citizens should have access to alternative forms of inflation resistant money, such as gold backed cash, or Goldbacks, to maintain financial autonomy.

Nostr is now doing the "Outbox" model. You list the "outbox" relays in your profile that you post your comments to. That way people looking for you, or following you, know where to find your posts. You control your own relay, and nobody can take you down, short of IP/DNS blacklist, at which point you can list new outbox relays, and rebroadcast all your old posts to those.

More information regarding the Durov arrest came to out today. Turns out France is making up charges of "CSAM Child Porn" being distributed in Telegrams. Standard authoritarian bully tactics to censor speech online and remove their end to end encryption (or at least backdoor it). Telegram legal says it's rediculous. Akin to holding CEO of Ford criminally liable because someone drove an F150 into a crowd. By the same logic they need to arrest Zuck and Musk.
