07 Heavy metals can do significant damage to the body. Most people who are exposed to heavy metals in today’s times are through their food, water, vaccines and even the air you breathe . The good news is that there are natural ways to chelate heavy metals from your body.
In high amounts, heavy metal toxicity can cause many adverse conditions like headache, nausea, vomiting, sweating, and even death. In lower amounts toxicity from lead or mercury, for example, can have much subtler effects. In either case, however, ridding the body of these harmful metals is important.
Removal of heavy metals from the body is known as chelation. This word actually comes from the Greek word “claw” and was used because early practitioners believed they grabbed a hold of the metals and carried them out of the body through the digestive system.
Fortunately, there are foods with natural chelation properties. In cases of minor exposure, you don’t need to spend a fortune on prescriptions or even supplements in order to restore optimal health. The following are natural heavy metal chelating agents.
Amino Acids. Amino acids are great at removing metals from the body and so good for meat eaters. These proteins are found in eggs and fish, among other things, and can work to increase liver health and balance enzyme production.
2. Cilantro. Cilantro one super-herb that can effectively remove heavy metals like aluminum, mercury, and lead in particular in only two weeks. Also, because these metals can damper the immune system, cilantro is also recognized as an immune-booster.
3. Food-Grade Activated Charcoal for general detoxifying; this includes detoxing heavy metals. For heavy metal detoxifying, take a total of 20 grams per day, spaced apart in three to four doses, over a 14 day period. My preference is taking a tablespoon once in the morning, well before breakfast for general detoxification.
4. Brazil Nuts: not necessarily a chelation food, Brazil nuts actually work to restore the good minerals, like selenium and zinc, that may be lost in the chelation process. 2 or 3 supply all the selenium you require.
5. Onions and garlic. The sulfur in onions and garlic can also help to eliminate heavy metals. Add things like eggs, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, and cabbage, these also have high sulfur content.
6. Chlorella. The superfood known as chlorella can serve as a mild chelation-helper. You can find it in supplement form or as a powder to add to various dishes.

08 Chicken Soup, you bet. Chicken soup really is healthy, especially when cooked for a long time to get all the collagen out of the bones. I add a lot of cilantro, garlic and parsley at the end. Its good to add garlic at the very end because it keeps it's antimicrobial activity more intact.Pressing a Garlic clove and throwing it into your bowl right before consuming the soup is the best way to gain it's antimicrobial action.
You can also add Ginger or galangal earlier on, we dont need it to boil, just allow it to simmer for some time. Be sure to keep the lid on the pot to keep all the great ginger essential oils in the soup. Get creative with adding herbs that support the immune system. Astragalus does not change the flavor of your soup much and Ginger adds to the flavor. Astragalus is used to prevent colds and flu.
Astragalus has been shown to decrease the replication of the H9N2 virus.
Chicken soup is a comfort food and therefore gives a powerful placebo effect.

09 Phthalates; this is not a new subject, unfortunately though it is a continuous problem. There is definitely not enough exposure on MSM. It never ceases to amaze me that every single person is in some way affected by these forever chemicals. Politicians, judiciary, medical etc including their families are affected yet it just doesnt sink in.
Plenty of studies have looked at the association between exposure to phthalates during pregnancy, and the development of emotional/behavioral problems in toddlers and children.
Research had examined exposure of young children and especially infants were the most vulnerable due to developmental and reproductive toxicity from phthalates. This research goes much further, it looks at the gestational effects in the first trimester. No surprise here ; the fetus is especially vulnerable to toxins as they undergo rapid growth and brain development.
So what Are Phthalates and where Are They Found?
They are synthetic chemicals used to make plastics and resins, primarily used to make polyvinyl chloride (PVC ) They help to make products flexible, transparent and durable.
Phthalates are in thousands of products and now we can find them also in the soil where we grow our food and the water we drink, and in the air we breathe. How wonderfully considerate these corporates are. Phthalates are absorbed through physical contact, breathing and swallowing.
The researchers have shown phthalate intrauterine exposure was associated with behavioral/development problems, but only in boys. When comparing boys with lower phthalate exposure to those with greater exposure, those with the higher exposure to DEHP had lower developmental scores in personal social abilities, more internalizing and externalizing problems, more physical complaints, and were more anxious or depressed. There were no differences found in association with the high and low DEHP scores in girls.
The Conclusion
The researchers concluded the DEHP metabolite urine concentration differences from phthalate exposure measured in the first trimester of pregnancy may indeed play a role in the development of emotional and behavioral problems in boys that appeared in later life.

11 Skin conditions.
There are various herbs that tend to have an affinity with different detoxification systems. Herbs such as Cleavers and poke root have an affinity and work in a powerfull way on the lymph. Oregon grape, dandelion root and katuki have an affinity for the liver.
If you want to remove waste through the kidneys by diuresis use Dandelion leaves or Boerhavia.
If you are looking for elimination through the skin, call on Burdock root.
From rashes, eczema, acute skin infections, psoriasis, acne, Burdock has been the answer for hundreds of years.
Not only can it impact on skin conditions, it has a noticeable effect on multiple systems of elimination or detoxification including the liver and the urinary system.Burdock affects multiple systems of detoxification and benefits in the urinary system as an anti-lithic and diuetic for cystitis, urinary gravel and kidney stones. resulting oliguria and other conditions of urination such as enuresis.
Burdock seed and Burdock root
form a great diuretic alterative. The action of the seeds upon the urinary tract is direct, relieving irritation and increasing renal activity, and the good news... eliminating toxins.. Combine this herb with Milk thistle for that extra punch.

12 Mild depression can often spiral into something less easy to handle. Here are a couple of easy to procure herbs used traditionally to help people with mild depression; lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) as a tea or tincture
Siberian ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus) as a tincture, will help to stabilize blood sugar levels and improve mental alertness and physical stamina.
Oat seed tincture will also deeply nourish the nervous system. You can take all three of these herbs together and daily, long term basis. Add a little St. Johns wort for extra benefits. Take note st johns wort is not recomended with some pharmaceutical products so ask you friendly doctor if you still have one. Walking in nature, getting out in the sunshine, working in your garden and doing things you love will definitely benefit your wellbeing. 🤗☉

13 Dandelion Flower Infused Oil. Now the cooler month's are here ( southern hemisphere) wild dandelions are now making their appearance in the gardens and fields. I love this plant and its bright yellow flowers always look so cheerful.
So here is a simple oil you can make to heal chapped or cracked skin, and so useful to soothe sore muscles, aches and pains. This oil will remain good for a year or so.
Fill a jar about 3/4 with dandelion flowers and cover them with olive oil, sweet almond or any good quality and fresh oil. Cap the jar, and put it in a dark cabinet for 5 or 6 weeks, shaking occasionally.
After 5 or 6 weeks have passed, strain the flowers from the oil and store for up to 1 year.
You can do this with Comfrey, Nettles, Calandula, and a host of many other medicinal herbs.
Have some fun, if you have children they just love to participate in the gathering and making these simple remedies.

16 INTERMITTENT FASTING AND HEALTHY AGING. Age is influenced by both our environment/lifestyle. Life expectancy has increased over the last century however our health span has not. Diseases associated with aging, such as cancer, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and Alzheimer’s disease are on the rise.
In our development as a species, food sources were sometimes abundant and sometimes scarce. Feast and famine were probably the norm. Intermittent fasting may be a way to replicate this evolutionary pattern, and there is much evidence suggesting it may ultimately offer some protection against many of the diseases associated with aging. It is no secret modern medicine/ pharmaceutical have not held the secret for longevity and health. One just needs to be an observer of life ( not media ) to notice the medical/ pharmaceutical industry is every thing other than life giving. This may be the catalyst to move people to notice the Kingdom is within and the Government is not the savior of the world.
So here are some ideas that will make living in your body much more comfortable. INTERMITTENT FASTING?
There are many variations, three of the most popular are:
• 16/8 method – restrict the time you eat to 8 hours/day and fast for 16 hours in between.
• 5:2 diet– in one week, eat 500-600 calories on two non-consecutive days, and eat normally the other five days
• Alternate day fasting – fast for 24 hours (no food) and then eat normally for 24 hours.
This particular fast is not for everyone ; only eat one meal a day and fast the rest. It looks the most difficult however this is only conditioning. One thing to remember there is no consumption of any calorie intake in between. You are more than your physical body. Stay strong and know the kingdom is within. Keep food types simple.

17 Fire Cider,
This will warm 🔥🔥the cockles of your heart on those cold winter days and help to ward off nastie cold and flu.
You can make a batch that will last a couple of months, and here is how;
1 litre of organic raw apple cider vinegar.
Find local organic apple cider if you can, get something with a little life force and the mother. ( not Braggs or other imported crap)
2 egg sized white or brown onions
4 or 5 cloves of garlic ( or more)
3 or 4 jalapeño or habanero peppers
3 or 4 cm horseradish root
4 cm of fresh ginger root
10 black peppercorns.
Experiment with different ingredients, different tastes.
Chop all ingredients and place them in a jar large enough to add 1 litre of apple cider vinegar and fill your jar near to the top.
Let sit for at least 4 or 5 weeks before straining.
I normally use a Ball preserving jar about 1.8 lt seems to work for me.
Take 1 or 2 tablespoons as required if you are feeling a little off. It will get you back in the game.
This is a great pick me up and good for all the family.

18 Medicinal Mushrooms; 🍄🍄🍄more then 38,000 known species of mushrooms and there are at least 290 we know that possess therapeutic or medicinal properties. The treatment of human illness with Mushrooms date back thousands of years; one notable chinese is Li Shizhen. He included numerous fungi as effective treatments in his 1578 Compendium of Materia Medica, this is regarded by many as the most comprehensive medical work ever completed in the history of traditional Chinese medicine.
There is little doubt about the effectiveness of medicinal mushrooms. They have numerous immunological, antioxidant, anti-metastatic, cardioprotective, and obesity management properties.
Super Mushroom Tonicum🍄🍄🍄 contains, in my opinion 9 of the best medicinal mushrooms into one tonic.
The active constituents of the Super mushroom Tonicum are absorbed slowly and gradually, making it highly bioavailable. The strength is in the delivery, all completely absorbed into the body.
The whole of the fruiting body of the mushroom is used in this herbal preparation.
As usual, every herbal product I create has no unnecessary additives, or nasties. They are totally organic, and in some cases from wild foraging in selected pristine countryside. There are no sugars or carriers, Just the WHOLE mushroom in an alcohol base.
As a herbal tincture the mushrooms are more bioavailable than other preparation methods because they bypass the stomach, and so they are not being consumed by digestive acids. This enables them to be absorbed directly into the bloodstream, and then systematically throughout the body. This delivery method has been shown to be much more effective than other administration methods.
Mushrooms such as
Organic Hericium erinaceus (Lion’s Mane)
Organic Inonotus obliquus (Chaga)
Organic Ophiocordyceps militaris (Cordyceps)
Organic Trametes versicolor (Turkey Tail)
Organic Ganoderma lucidum (Reishi)
Grifola frondosa (Maitake)
Lentinula edodes (Shiitake)
Wolfiporia extensa ( poria or Fú Ling)🍄🍄🍄
No nasty toxic chemicals or unwanted crap.
There is so much super goodness in this health tonic. Hand blended and made by Hans.💕 So what else is possible?

20 Yogurt! Did you know It is particularly beneficial for maintaining your 4 legged friends gut health. This will also indirectly improve the immune system’s response to allergens.
Plain yogurt is a fermented dairy product, it must be plain natural yogurt without added flavors or sweeteners. This is recommended.
Yogurt (probiotics ) helps maintain healthy balance of beneficial bacteria in the gut. Will improve digestion and boost the immune system of your four legged friend. This can indirectly benefit the coat and skin conditions associated with allergies.
Add a small amount of plain, unsweetened yogurt to your dog’s food. Depending on the size of your dog, small would start with a teaspoon and an extra tea spoon for every 5 kg.
As with cats not all dogs tolerate dairy well, so you might start with a small amount first to see how your dog reacts. Obviously if your dog has a bad reaction stop and check out another solution.

24 Internet Erases Information and History, Specialists Are Calling For Restoration of Paper Archives
The Internet is constantly changing, and some of our familiar content is disappearing. According to a notable study by the Pew Research Center, 38 per cent of web pages published in 2013 are no longer accessible, and 8 per cent of pages from 2023 are also unavailable, mainly due to deletion or removal.
The "digital decay" effect, identified by the American research center, is a widespread problem affecting various online spaces, from government and news sites to Wikipedia and social media. Approximately 23 per cent of news pages, 21 per cent of government websites, and 54 per cent of Wikipedia pages contain at least one broken link in their references.
Around 20 per cent of tweets disappear from the platform within a few months, highlighting the real-time nature of this trend.
Some experts have argued that the preservation of paper archives is essential for safeguarding information and knowledge for future generations.
Retired historian and lawyer, Professor Joachim Lothscheim, who taught at universities in Germany and Austria, emphasized the importance of reconsidering the closure of traditional archives to ensure the preservation of history for our children and future generations. Additionally, French lawyer and academic lecturer Jean-Phillippe Auguste also stressed that relying solely on the digital sphere is no longer realistic.
The study collected random samples of nearly a million web pages from Common Crawl, an Internet archiving service. The researchers then analyzed whether these pages remained accessible between 2013 and 2023, offering an overview of web content preservation over a decade.

27 Motherwort; both leaves and flowers are used in making herbal medicine from Motherwort. This herb is long lived and grows to over a meter. Sometimes the botanical name will give an indication to the medical benefits. For Motherwort the Latin name: Leonurus cardiaca might suggest it has or is used to help with heart problems and you would be right in this instance. Since ancient times it was traditionally used to treat angina, high blood pressure and an overactive sometimes racing heart rate.
The British Herbal Pharmacopoeia (BHP) describes Motherwort's actions as sedative & antispasmodic' and says it is indicated for cardiac debility, tachycardia, amenorrhoea (absent period) and specifically indicated for cardiac symptoms associated with neurosis. The BHP suggests a dose of 2-4 gms or by infusion and recommends a tincture in the ratio of 1:5 in 45% ethanol with a dose of 2-4mls.
Even the Chinese are in on the act. So what did their literature suggest ? Motherwort has been used in Chinese medicine to treat coronary heart disease in people with favourable results and laboratory studies in China have shown it has an anti-spasmodic action on heart muscle cells (Kuang PG et al: J Tradit Chin Med 8(1):37-40, 1988)"
~ In laboratory experiments Motherwort extracts have been shown to reduce high blood pressure and to exert a mild sedative and antispasmodic effect (Arustamova FA: Izv Akad Nauk Arm SSR Biol Nauki 1963,16(7):47-52).
So this plant has a well deserved pedigree.
Motherwort is not just limited to heart conditions. Motherwort is also valuable for stimulating delayed or suppressed mensturation, painful menstruation, and advanced forms of nervousness and palpitation. It is a useful relaxing tonic for menopausal changes. This herb is generally regarded as an extremely safe and to take at any age or stage of life and the German Commission E advises that there are no known contraindications with the use of this herb while pregnant. If one was receiving benefit from Motherwort keep using it as there are no reports of adverse reactions to its use in the medical literature. However when it comes to pregnancy this herb was used in the past to help with labour, my opinion it may be best to avoid Motherwort during labour.
There is some literature regarding Motherwort as a treatment for an overactive thyroid, or recommended as a treatment for Graves' disease or Hashimoto's, in my opinion motherwort would not the best remedy.

29 Anti-Inflammatory Diet: this is a nutrient-dense diet that gives emphasis on antioxidant and anti-inflammatory foods while less emphasis on pro-inflammatory foods can also be super good and supportive. There are many different types of healthy diets, and we all have varied and unique needs. However, generally supportive foods include vegetables including leafy greens and berries, lean proteins, and more concentration on plants, and anti-inflammatory oils including olive, avocado, and wild fatty fish. Incorporate green tea ( taking care there is no drug interactions), culinary spices, and herbs into your daily diet. Nuts, seeds, beans, whole grains, and pasture-raised meat are healthy for most people as well. Some feel better on a Paleo-style diet and others prefer plant-centered vegan, vegetarian, and/or Mediterranean style diets. Some people may find potatoes, bell peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, etc worsen inflammation, but most do not. Sugar, processed food, alcohol, factory farmed meat with artificial ingredients aren’t good for anyone. It’s amazing how much difference a health-promoting diet can make for overall health and wellbeing, especially in terms of inflammation and circulatory support.

34 Heavy metal can do significant damage to the body.
For those busy on the go people I do make "Heavy metal detox" mix available on etsy.. for your convenience 🤗.

35 Chaste tree (Vitex agnus-castus) also called chaste berry is often used in conjunction with black cohosh or other herbs to treat menopausal symptoms. The berries have diterpenoid compounds which can have potential effects on the neurotransmitter dopamine.
Chaste berry may lower levels of the hormone prolactin. High levels of prolactin have been associated with PMS. Other studies have shown that the properties of chaste berry could mimic the action of progesterone, helping relieve menopausal symptoms and treat infertility problems. The berries of the tree have been used for centuries in herbal medicine to help balance hormones and regulate the menstrual cycle.
It contains compounds that support the effects of progesterone in the body, which can help alleviate symptoms of PMS, menopause, and PCOS.
Chaste tree is especially helpful if you have symptoms of estrogen dominance like painful periods, tender breasts, or mood swings just before your period. It is also helpful in reducing testosterone levels in women with PCOS

39 "Shilajit" for those that may have purchased previously you may be familiar with this product as I often offer this product in combination with Ashwagandha, Siberian ginseng, or Shatavari as complimentary gift with any purchase. For those that dont know , here is a little information. So what does it do?
Shilajit has the ability to bring strength and rejuvenation to all parts of the body. This tar-like material is not harvested directly from a plant, but rather created from the slow decomposition of plant material over many centuries deep in the rocks of the Himalayas.
As it develops, it becomes a sticky, mineral-infused substance. Eventually, stimulated by the intense heat of summer, it seeps out through the rocks, finally available to be harvested. One of the reasons that shilajit is such a powerful healing substance is that it is packed with beneficial minerals, including silica, iron, calcium, copper, lithium, magnesium, manganese, phosphorous, sodium, and zinc. Not only is shilajit rich in organic trace minerals (in this case, “organic” means plant-derived), but it also contains fulvic acid, humic acid, amino acids, and plant-based antioxidants. Chicken Soup, you bet.

Phthalates; this is not a new subject, unfortunately though it is a continuous problem.
