It's the big day of the week again after last week's NFP 😎
Today we have the release of Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the US and this inflation data is going to mean alot to the upcoming FOMC meeting decisions and what the Fed has to say about it.
Yesterday, the Treasury efforts to buyback bonds backfired as the purchase amount was lesser than the total offer significantly. Hence traders repriced gold towards the bearish side alongside PPI data, which makes sense for the big movement yesterday.
Oil price on the other hand is still climbing higher reaching 110$/bbl before correcting as the Iran war tensions have been escalating on recent attacks. World oil supply is also expected to be lower compared to the previously forecasted value against the demand.
With all these on going, we think the BEARS will take action to really test the BULLS conviction on gold.
Based on technicals , as much as we don't want to be naive with a chart pattern and go with the flow , there seems to be not enough reason for a bullish pressure to win in the market.
Hence, we think that price will be lingering around the current H4 supply areas (which in worst case scenario could be extended to 4400) to push down.
Note: The narrative today may be an easy direction for traders around the world and they might get it right initially, but what would wipe traders too could be trying to buy when the price goes low enough. We think that's where the market will trap the buyers and generate liquidity to close low and large. So don't underestimate the bears power and try to buy just because the price is too low.

Follow your own thought process and stick to your plan. Be matured and responsible as a trader and do not FOMO just because someone else is giving an opposing signal to yours.
