"Blood Clots" contine to ravage US health as expressed inside Cerebrovascular, Respiratory, and Kidney related mortality - (as we observed with a family member last week).
Below is a summary of all forms of excess mortality, with Pull-Forward Effect (PFE) taken into account. PFE must be included, because each of the Big 12 ICD codes, ranked in terms of percentage excess in the chart (beige boxes), contains Pull-Forward Effect.
The asymmetric impact of PFE can be observed as indicated by the green/black/red annotation in the chart. The reason that negative numbers still exist in these figures (in green text) is because we have chosen a conservative PFE allocation, which is overcome by the actual PFE in those mortality codes which impact the elderly the hardest.
This PFE was confirmed by the Society of Actuaries in their Covid-19 Mortality Survey Report of November 2023. The top ICD codes in terms of excess mortality are highlighted in red.

| 10 |  As I am wont to do, I have proposed a restructuring of the ancestral orders of Bronze Age, Classical, and Roman column capitals, as a derivative work arising from my recent trip to Turkey.
My contention is that Ionic capitals are derivative rather than ancestral - hence much of the difficulty in academic literature attempting to resolve the Ionic motif into a single coherent category (what a mess!). It is, in effect, trying to shoehorn three feet into a single boot.
The resulting complexity may arise because “Ionic” combines architectural expressions descended from an older geometric tradition rather than representing a single ancestral order in its own right.
Proposed: The classical capital tradition is better understood as descending principally from three ancestral orders:
- Aeolic (geometric/instrumental),
- Doric (pedestal/cultic), and
- Corinthian (acanthus/cultic).
...with Ionic representing a derivative planar (2D) simplistic derivative of the Aeolic tradition, and the Roman Ephesian capital representing a later synthesis of Aeolic geometry with Corinthian acanthus.
