Gee, I wonder why? Let's see. What happened to the leaders of these so-called communist countries? Oh, right: they got assassinated by the Western power! Then what happened once they were out of the playing field? The government was replaced by a puppet regime chosen by the West.
No wonder "communism never works": the capitalist West always makes sure to put a stop to it.

I never once wish for religious people to someday "see the truth and become an atheist" like me, but whenever I answer their question about my belief and say I'm atheist, they always respond with, "May I know why?" followed by, "I hope you return to the right path someday".
The same applies to when I say I wanna be childfree: "You will change your mind someday." This is very cruel, you know? 😞 Imagine if I reply, "I hope all your kids die soon and you will never get pregnant again." Honestly, I'm tempted to try it sometimes. 😂

According to such elitist, I am not date-able since I own no bookshelf. All the hors and energy I've spent reading e-books and listening to audiobooks are naught because apparently only physical books matters. 😹
It is for me a terrible, terrible tragedy to learn how an individual can read an exuberant number of books and still end up becoming an elitist. What do these people read?

My own sister was almost married off to a much older man by out parents when she was still in highschool. Now she is in a happy marriage with her former classmate.
Recently one of my co-workers told me how cute was the wife of her newly wed friend back home. The friend was a 30 year old male; the wife was fresh out of highschool.
A while back one of my online friends related to me a story of her 27 year old female middle-school teacher friend dating her own student.
I have many more anecdotes.

If you pick 10 random Indonesians from the street and tell them a story of a teacher marrying his high school student, only 2 of them would probably bat an eye. The rest either support or don't care about it.
But ask them their opinion about queer people and 9 out of 10 would express their repulsiveness.

Pedophile culture is part of Indonesian identity. All over the country teenage girls are made to marry older men. This is not limited to rural areas; this is found everywhere. Indonesian parents will be proud if their teenage daughter get marry with an older man who slightly has more money than they do. Indonesian men will be applauded for marrying a much younger bride—they call her "daun muda" or young leaf; the younger, the better.
Indonesia is a nation with a pedophile culture that hates queer people because apparently in their religions queer people are considered problematic unlike pedophiles.
