Repost from SMU MS Official Channel
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Surah Al-Mulk — the chapter that intercedes.
The Prophet ﷺ taught us about a surah of just 30 verses that protects its reciter from the punishment of the grave. It continues to speak on your behalf when you no longer can.
🌙 It is sunnah to recite Surah Al-Mulk every night before sleeping. A short, consistent practice — with immense reward in the Hereafter.
Let’s make it a nightly habit, and a lasting gift for our soul.
Its words become our voice in the grave, shielding us when we need it most.

"Let Allah fix what you can't"
There are things in life that are beyond your control - hearts, outcomes, timing.
When you've done your part, let go & let Allah take over.
He mends whats broken in ways you could never imagine.
He is Al-Jabbar - The Restorer, The Fixer of every shattered piece.
"And whoever puts their trust in Allah, then He 'alone' is sufficient for them." (Qur'an 65:3)

Friday Sunnah Reminders 🤍📿
We all know how special Jumaah (Friday) is in our Deen but we need reminders from time to time to recall the magnanimity of this golden day.
Friday is no average day for Muslims. It has the honor of being called ‘best day of the week’ by the best person to ever exist- Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
1. Send extra selawat to Rasulullah
Rasulullah ﷺ said :
“The person closest to me on the Day of Resurrection is the one who sent the most Selawat upon me.” 🖤 [ Sunan Al-Tirmidhi 484 ]
2. Read Surah Al-Kahfi
We can read:
A. The first 10 Ayahs of Surah Al-Kahf
B. The last 10 Ayahs of Surah Al-Kahf
C. Both A and B
D. Ideally, the complete Surah Al-Kahf.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, he will be illuminated with light between the two Fridays.” [ Narrated by al-Haakim; Grade Sahih by al-Albaani ]
3. Mandi Jumaat [ Jumaah Shower ]
Abu Sa’id Al-Khudr reports: I testify that Allah’s Messenger said, ‘The taking of a bath on Friday is compulsory for every Muslim who has attained the age of puberty and also cleaning of teeth with Siwak and using perfume, if available’. [ Sahih Bukhari ]
4. Use Fragance & New Piece of Clothings.
“Put on your adornment on every occasion of prayer” [ Surat al-A’raf 7: 31 ]
5. Berdoa to Allah [ Send supplications to Allah ]
6. Trimming your nails
Abu Hurayrah R.A. reported that ‘Five are the demonstrations of fitrah (nature/ instinct): 1. circumcision, 2. evacuating the hair underneath the navel, 3. trimming the mustache, 4. trimming the nails, and 5. culling the hair under the arms.’
7. Make lots of Dua between Asr & Maghrib
“There is a special hour on Friday, during which all prayers are accepted and answered by Allah, all Glory and Praise be to Him. This is part of the blessings that Allah has blessed this day with, over all the other days of the week. “On this day there is a time when no Muslim stands and prays, asking Allah for something, but Allah will grant him it” – and he gestured with his hands to indicate how short that time is. [ Bukhari and Muslim ]
Ibn Al-Qayyim said that this golden hour is to be found in the time after the Asr prayer until the Maghrib Azan (end of day): “Friday has twelve hours (or part of it). There is one hour during which if a Muslim asks Allah anything, Allah will give it to him, so find it during the last hour after Asr.” [ Abu Dawud & An-Nasai ]
Let’s do the virtues of Friday together! insha allah, if you can’t do everything, it’s okayy, don’t leave everything out okayy 🤍
may Allah ease your affairs. 🕊

Advice from the Grave:
I am the darkest of all places — so illuminate me with Tahajjud (night prayers).
I am the tightest of confinements — so expand me with Silaturrahim (nurturing family ties).
I am the loneliest of abodes — so fill me with the recitation of the Qur’an.
I am the dwelling of vile creatures — so drive them away with acts of charity (sadaqah).
I will crush you without mercy — unless you protect yourself through prayer (solat).
I am a place of painful submersion — so shield yourself with fasting (sawm).
I am where Munkar and Nakir will question you — so prepare your answers by constantly saying “La ilaha illallah.”
اللّهم أنّا نعوذبك من عذاب القبر وعذاب النّار. آمين 🤲🏻

Here are 5 gentle reminders of how much Allah ﷻ loves you — may they bring comfort to your heart:
1. Allah always listens. Even though He already knows what’s in your heart, He never tires of hearing your voice. "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." (Qur’an 40:60)
2. Allah is never against you — He is with you. Everything He made halal or haram is for your benefit, to help you live your best life. "Allah wants ease for you, not hardship." (Qur’an 2:185)
3. He values even the smallest good deed. Nothing goes unnoticed — even your tiniest act of kindness is seen and rewarded. "Whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it." (Qur’an 99:7)
4. Allah knows and understands everything you're going through. He hears the things you don’t say out loud and sees the battles you silently face. "Your Lord has not abandoned you." (Qur’an 93:3)
5. You are never truly alone. In every place, in every moment, He is right there with you. "And He is with you wherever you are." (Qur’an 57:4)
May these reminders anchor your heart in hope and His mercy 🤍

"Allah knows what you don't say."
Even when your heart is heavy, but your lips stay quiet - Allah knows.
Even when you're smiling outside, but crying inside - Allah sees.
You're never alone in your silence because He understands the words your soul can't speak.
"Say: Whether you conceal what is in your hearts or reveal it, it is known to Allah." (Qur'an 3:29)

🧑🧑🧒🧒
everyone in this Dunya is temporary, everyone you have right now is just a loan from Allah.
your family, your friends, all of the people you love, will one day leave you.
so be grateful, while they’re still here with us!

Real friends are a gift from Allah swt — the ones who bring you closer to your Deen, not further away from it. They remind you to remember Allah daily, not neglect Him. They encourage you to increase your ibadah, not reduce it. Slowly Istiqomah and choose your friends wisely. 🤍

Live by this principle: Do good, even if you receive nothing in return. Not for recognition, not for praise — but because Allah loves those who do good purely for His sake.

Repost from 📿 The Remembrance of ALLAH الله
Sadaqah is a voluntary act of charity that is given for the sole purpose of pleasing Allah (SWT) and without expecting anything in return. In Qur'an, Allah said: "Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and [they who] have loaned Allah a goodly loan – it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward" (SURAH HADID AYAT 18).
Benefits of Sadaqah.
1. Sadaqah Helps Cure Illness and Averts Death.
2. Sadaqah Eases Hardships and Removes Calamities.
3. Sadaqa is an Investment in This Life and Hereafter.
4. Sadaqa Expiates Sins.
5. Sadaqah Purifies the Nafs (Protection from harm)
6. Sadaqah jariyah is one of the three good deeds that outlasts death.
7. Sadaqah is a cure and a medicine.
8. Sadaqah is rewarded, even if it is on animals and birds.
9. Sadaqah is a way of accepting Dua.
10. Sadaqah does not decrease wealth.
May Allah, by the blessings of Sadqa-e-Jaria, remove the pains, worries, and problems of every Muslim in both worlds. May He inscribe the rewards of this perpetual charity in the books of every Muslim, multiplying their good deeds. May Allah make every aspect of life easy for me, the one reading this message, and all those who contribute to Sadqa-e-Jaria. May He alleviate our burdens and grant us ease in both worlds. Ameen.
