Tawakkul "When all paths blur, walk with faith." This reflects the essence of tawakkul which is complete trust in Allah, especially when things feel uncertain. The phrase Hasbunallah Wa Ni'mal Wakeel means: "Allah is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs." (Qu'ran 3:173) This quote reminds us that this isn't just something we recite in hardship but it's a divine reassurance that Allah is fully in control. Even when life feels unclear or overwhelming, placing trust in Him is both an act of worship and a source of peace. Trust him and He will ease all of your affairs, InshaaAllah.

Friday Sunnah Reminders 🤍📿 We all know how special Jumaah (Friday) is in our Deen but we need reminders from time to time to recall the magnanimity of this golden day. Friday is no average day for Muslims. It has the honor of being called ‘best day of the week’ by the best person to ever exist- Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. 1. Send extra selawat to Rasulullah Rasulullah ﷺ said : “The person closest to me on the Day of Resurrection is the one who sent the most Selawat upon me.” 🖤 [ Sunan Al-Tirmidhi 484 ] 2. Read Surah Al-Kahfi We can read: A. The first 10 Ayahs of Surah Al-Kahf B. The last 10 Ayahs of Surah Al-Kahf C. Both A and B D. Ideally, the complete Surah Al-Kahf. The Prophet said: “Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, he will be illuminated with light between the two Fridays.” [ Narrated by al-Haakim; Grade Sahih by al-Albaani ] 3. Mandi Jumaat [ Jumaah Shower ] Abu Sa’id Al-Khudr reports: I testify that Allah’s Messenger said, ‘The taking of a bath on Friday is compulsory for every Muslim who has attained the age of puberty and also cleaning of teeth with Siwak and using perfume, if available’. [ Sahih Bukhari ] 4. Use Fragance & New Piece of Clothings. “Put on your adornment on every occasion of prayer” [ Surat al-A’raf 7: 31 ] 5. Berdoa to Allah [ Send supplications to Allah ] 6. Trimming your nails Abu Hurayrah R.A. reported that ‘Five are the demonstrations of fitrah (nature/ instinct): 1. circumcision, 2. evacuating the hair underneath the navel, 3. trimming the mustache, 4. trimming the nails, and 5. culling the hair under the arms.’ 7. Make lots of Dua between Asr & Maghrib “There is a special hour on Friday, during which all prayers are accepted and answered by Allah, all Glory and Praise be to Him. This is part of the blessings that Allah has blessed this day with, over all the other days of the week. “On this day there is a time when no Muslim stands and prays, asking Allah for something, but Allah will grant him it” – and he gestured with his hands to indicate how short that time is. [ Bukhari and Muslim ] Ibn Al-Qayyim said that this golden hour is to be found in the time after the Asr prayer until the Maghrib Azan (end of day): “Friday has twelve hours (or part of it). There is one hour during which if a Muslim asks Allah anything, Allah will give it to him, so find it during the last hour after Asr.” [ Abu Dawud & An-Nasai ] Let’s do the virtues of Friday together! insha allah, if you can’t do everything, it’s okayy, don’t leave everything out okayy 🤍 may Allah ease your affairs. 🕊 MD. @selfreflectionforummah

Most people stand in long lines… 🗣️ To gossip 🧐 To criticize 🙃 To watch from the sidelines But few choose the shorter lines the harder ones: 💪 To help 🌱 To encourage 🤲 To get involved Why? Because the nafs (lower self) pull us to talk more than to take action. But the one who struggles against their nafs chooses contribution over complaint. “But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge.” — Surah An-Nazi’at, 79:40-41 Let’s shift lanes. Choose sincerity. Choose effort. Choose the line less crowded — but far more rewarding. 🟢 Which line are you standing in today?

Silence is a battle —one that rages quietly within. Sometimes, you show up with a smile, holding yourself together while your heart is breaking. You stay silent, not because you have no words, but because you choose to protect your peace, your intentions, and your akhlak. In Islam, this silent struggle is not unnoticed. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, “Whoever remains silent has been saved.” (Tirmidhi). You hold back anger, bite your tongue, swallow the urge to respond—and instead, you cry only in front of Allah, pouring out your pain in sujood where no one sees. That is strength. That is sincerity. The world may never hear your struggle, but Allah knows every tear shed in silence and every emotion buried with sabr. Let your quiet endurance be your loudest victory.
