🖊️ COMMENTARY
How people regard and treat God before our presence is always a function of the impressions we have created of our God before their eyes. If we are fond of appearing beggarly and hopeless, we are telling the world that our Father can't take care of us. If we are always bickering and quarreling, we are implying that there is no love in the family to which we belong. If we are always complaining and do not give good offerings, we suggest that it is unfortunate for us.
But when we behave wisely: when we dress in a sense of royalty; when we express love and care; when we are joyful and exuberant, the signal is quickly understood-we are kingdom ambassadors. God's word today, -is that through you, He will vindicate his holiness before the unbelievers and through you, He will teach principalities and powers the manifold wisdom of God.
He says that if He is lifted in your dressing, speeches, work ethics and mannerisms, He will draw all men to himself. Let's create a wholesome image of our father in the way we live today.

🖊️ COMMENTARY
Worry is a distraction from God and what He can do. Worry means feeling or cause to feel anxious or troubled about actual or potential problems. A Swedish proverb says, "Worry often gives a small thing a big shadow. Worry can slip into our hearts under the guise of "what if" Often we worry about necessities of life (v.25). Because of this, we chase after money and what money can buy over spiritual matters. Worry is sin, because it suggests that God is not able to deliver us from whatever is causing us to worry. Research reveals that most of us worry about:
I. Money and the future. Fear about our financial security in the future
II. Job Security
III. Relationships
IV. Health
Jesus says life is more than food, clothing, and wealth (v. 25). God is able to care for us (v.26). Jesus added, worry cannot solve any
problems (v. 27). Therefore, worry is useless. It is a waste of time to spend our lives in anxious pursuit of food, drinks, and clothing for the future (vv. 31-32). Worry is a kind of insult to the Lord. It reflects a lack of confidence in God and His promises. Worry lacks staying power and perseverance in commitment to God. Lean to live one day at a time. Do not worry because Jesus cares for our present and controls our future (v.34: 1 Pet. 5:7). Knowing Peace in God's presence helps us overcome worries (John 14:27),

🖊️ COMMENTARY
Every true Pilgrim knows that other words used to describe him are: stranger, foreigner, alien, temporary resident, visitor, and sojourner. This is very clear to the biblical saints we read about in Hebrews chapter 11. In verse 13, the Bible says:
"...embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth."
The Apostle Peter, while writing in 1 Peter 2:11 says, "Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims to abstain from fleshly lust which wars against your soul." When Pharaoh in Genesis 47:9 asked Jacob how old he was. Jacob replied by saying that he was a pilgrim before he could tell Pharaoh his age. Moses in Exodus 18:3 named one of his sons, Gershom, which means, "I have become an alien in a foreign land." Joseph, before his death in Genesis 50:24- 25, made his brothers know that very soon God would visit them and take them out of Egypt to the land He promised their fathers on oath.
The Bible in Hebrews 11:15 says that if the pilgrims mentioned were thinking about the country they had left, they would have gone back. But they were looking for a country of their own, a better country, a heavenly one, a city prepared by God for them.
The mindset of the above pilgrims is who they are. Who are you? The person you know you are influences your thinking and your behaviour. They were pilgrims. They knew it and were careful how they lived in the land of their pilgrimage.
Today, we dare not forget that we also are pilgrims, and we need the Same mindset as the saints of old.

🖊️ COMMENTARY
In our text, Paul poses some questions, beginning with the advantages of being a Jew and the value of being entrusted with the oracles of God. But the focus turns deeply personal in verse 3: "What if some did not believe? Shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?"
This is not merely a question of Jewish rejection of the Gospel;
it addresses a timeless concern: Does human unfaithfulness cancel out God's promises? The answer is a resounding No! In verse 4, Paul affirms, "God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar..." In other words, God's faithfulness is never tied to human belief or performance. His promises are rooted in His own unchanging nature.
This is a deep reassurance to the weary heart. Perhaps you have shared the Gospel and being rejected. Perhaps you have trusted someone and was let down. Maybe you have wondered, "Does this mean God's Word has failed?" Romans 3:3 answers firmlyGod's truth stands regardless of who doubts it.
So, when it seems like the world is walking away from truth when even fellow believers grow cold or indifferent-don't let your heart be shaken. God is faithful, even when people are not.

🖊️ COMMENTARY
Have you ever felt discarded? Have your gifts, kindness, loyalty been forgotten as if you didn't matter? Have you ever felt like you were used and dumped? You helped them rise, but they disappeared when it was their turn to help you. You showed up in their pain, but they vanished in your storm. You're not alone. In Genesis 40, Joseph interpreted a dream for Pharaoh's cupbearer while in prison. It was accurate, but the man forgot him.
A story was said about a lady called Zara. She gave her all to a ministry team. She was the first to show up and the last to leave. Always serving with excellence. But when leadership changed, she was overlooked, even slandered and replaced without warning. She wept privately, hurt, bitter and battered. But instead of lashing out, she took the pain to God. Months later, a pastor from another region, who had quietly noticed her faithfulness, invited her to lead a new initiative. That ministry exploded.
Here's the lesson: When people forget your kindness, God archives it. When they drop you, He holds you. When they move on, God moves you forward. Beloved, people may use you, forget you, or even throw you away like yesterday's news. But God is not like people. He sees, remembers and restores. So keep serving, not for applause, but for assignment. Keep loving, not for recognition, but from obedience.

🖊️ *COMMENTARY*
The word for describing the idea of committing your all to what you are doing is diligence. It is a scripturally guaranteed recipe for rising above poverty and squalor in life. Not a single soul in the universe is happy or has the slightest desire to live in abject poverty.
Yet, most believers miss this divine principle to fighting lack.
It is not the type of job you do that places you above or below poverty. It is what you bring into your job that matters. Even a job as seemingly ordinary as mistaking people laugh for which you do not have to take any exam to practice has made its delight practitioners multimillionaires both locally and internationally.
Some years ago, the highest paid comedian in the world was Jerry Seinfeld, who earned $69million between June 2016 and June 2017, according to Forbes Magazine published in July, 2017. He was followed by Chris Rock, who earned $57million. In Nigerian terms, currently, that translates to N103.5 billion and N85.5 billion respectively.
Give your best to what you are doing today. Find better ways to do what you have been doing well. Get better and things will get better and better for you with God as your partner. Amen.

🖊️ COMMENTARY
Faith and obedience are major keys to experiencing God's mighty hand in our lives. Joshua chapter 6 records the story of Israel's conquest of Jericho. It also offers many lessons for present-day believers in Christ. Before the death of Moses, he publicly declared (under God's instruction) that Joshua would succeed him and lead Israel into the Promised Land (Num. 27:18-22). After crossing the Jordan, Jericho was the first city the Israelites conquered with Joshua as their leader. In verse 2, God assured
Joshua that He has "given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the
mighty men of valour." God further assured him that he would not
conquer by natural war plans. Rather, "You shall march around the city for six days" (v. 3). Verses 4-16 contain the simple instructions to be carried out by faith and obedience. At their compliance and
obedience, the miracle occurred (v. 20). The priests sounded the trumpet, the people shouted with a great shout, and the wall fell
down flat (v. 5). Lessons for us:
👉🏽 God keeps His promises
👉🏽God can help us overcome obstacles that prevent us from
following His will.
👉🏽 God fights battles alongside us. Therefore, we must not rely
on our own strength and wisdom.
👉🏽We need God's presence daily as we journey to our
"Promised Land'" Beloved, you can conquer any wall of Jericho today. Ask God for the battle plan.

Many Christians today are camped at Mount Horeb, stuck in comfort zones, experiences, or disappointment. But God says, "You have dwelt long enough here. Arise and move forward."
The Israelites had settled at Horeb, forgetting that the Promised Land was still ahead. God had to stir them up to continue the journey. Similarly, God told Jacob to return to Bethel, the place of his original calling and purpose. Until Jacob obeyed, his destiny was paused.
Friends, comfort can become bondage when you settle too early. Maybe you' ve stopped praying like before, lost your spiritual fire, or given up on that dream. But God is calling you: Arise! Take your journey. There's more ahead.
Even when giants await, God's instruction remains: move forward. There is a land to possess, a purpose to fulfill, and a destiny to complete.

In a world where foolishness has engulfed the minds of some of our youth, here are some keys of wisdom from the Bible that will help us:
👉🏽 *Seek Wisdom and Knowledge:* be serious with your studies and build your libraries. Unfortunately, we have a generation that values their wardrobe more than their library. The Apostle Paul said to Timothy, study to show yourself approved...
👉🏽 *Sacrifice for the Future:* While your mates will be doing the big boy and big girl thing, discipline yourself and deny yourself those immediate pleasures they seek for and sacrifice for the future. Invest instead of spending on things that have no future value. This way, you can live the lifestyle you love and reduce stress as you grow older.
👉🏽 *Build Your Future:* When you are young, resist the temptation to follow trends. Instead, focus on building your future. When the trends have expired, you will become a sensation.
👉🏽 *Plan for the Future:* start early to see and plan for the future, live a life that aligns with your vision and aspirations. The grace of God is manifest in areas where there is focus, "Focus
is anointing."
Remember, you are not in competition with anybody. It's your LIFE. Living your life according to the rules of others, instead of your own design and designation, is the greatest prison. Tragically, the prison of life has no fences or gates – it's in your mind.

🖊️ COMMENTARY
When you serve God from a young age, you are able to see the power and strength of God to act in your life. Psalm 91 when you dwell in the shelter of the most high, He will indeed be your refuge. As you navigate through life and deal with different challenges, He will see you through. As you draw closer to God, He promises to draw closer to you.
When you serve God from a young age, He gives you wisdom and discernment to turn from sin and make wise choices which will preserve your life. When you are born again, God gives you His Holy Spirit and as you live you will see the fruits of the Spirit in your life. You will have clear convictions about what is wrong and right, which will be a blessing to your life. When
other young people pressure you into sin, you will be able to stand and conquer.
If you want to live a life with impact, serving God in your youth is the best decision you can ever make. A life without God is a wasted life... serve God when you have time and the
opportunity to do so. This is not a decision you can regret but will cherish for the rest of your life.
When you stick with God for the long term, you will see His promises for your life happen as you remain faithful to His word.

🖊️ COMMENTARY
To bear the yoke in your youthful days. One must be intentional and persistent. We shall see some forms of yokes that we need to bear:
*The Yoke of Labor and Toil:* It is good for us all to have to work for
our bread (2 Thessalonians 3:10). God intended us for labor, not for indolence. Before the fall of man, God assigned physical work for him to do (Genesis 2:15). God did not place man in a "sleeping hollow" to fatten in idleness, but in a garden to dress and keep it. Young people need to learn to work while they are young. If they do not they will never be good workers. A young person who will work will always have a job.
*The Yoke of Living Godly Lives:* Youth is to "flee...youthful lusts"
(2 Timothy 2:22). The young are to follow righteousness, faith love, peace, and have a pure heart. They are to be an example (1 Timothy 4:12). You don't have to dance, smoke (tobacco or pot), drink, dress immodestly, or commit fornication just because you are young! In your youth is the time to start abstaining from all forms of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22) and to strive to live "soberly, righteously, and godly..." (Titus 2:12).
*The Yoke of Service to the Lord:* Young people need to be engaged in real labor for the Lord. They need to learn early in life to put the kingdom first (Matthew 6:33). You need to learn in your youth to put the Lord and His church before your own pleasure (2 Timothy 3:4). You need to be striving to convert souls to the Lord.

It is better to bear the yoke as a youth than in your old age.

🖊️ COMMENTARY
Parents must insist upon conformity to good rules within and outside the home. Unfortunately, we are living in a world where parental control has lost its place in the formation of moral and spiritual standards in the lives of children. Children who do not learn to bear the yoke in their youth bring sorrow and shame to their lives in their maturing years.
A story was told of a young boy whose mother would always support him in his wrongdoing. Even when the father wanted to discipline him, the mother shielded her son. This young man grew up and became an armed robber. He was arrested and sentenced to death. The day he was to face the firing squad, he told the prison guard that he would like to speak with his mum. So they called his mum. When she went to him, he told her to bend her ear. He wanted to speak to her only and would not want anybody to hear him, so she bent, and he bit off her ear as he whispered to her: You are the one that made me become an arms robber. If you had corrected me the way my dad did, I wouldn't have been here.
Parents must see that their children bear the "'yoke" of attending Bible study, being in worship, and attending gospel meetings. It is the responsibility of parents to "put the yoke" upon their children (Ephesians 6:4).

🖊️ COMMENTARY
As the young ox has to be brought under the yoke, and as the. young horse has to be accustomed to the bridle and bit, so the young person must learn the practical and valuable lessons of submission and endurance. In life, the "yoke" is to be imposed for the good of man. It is good for young people to learn to bear this yoke in their youth. One of the problems of this generation is that parents have not imposed the yoke upon their children.
Sandra Bezic once said, Too much pressure on such young shoulders, " but it is known that those who God uses greatly are the same ones He hurts deeply'". Recent article suggests that young people could see their careers derailed. finances shattered, and social lives upended The article went on to describe the depressing consequences of the COVID- 19 crisis. Young people, especially those who were preparing to enter into the workplace, are bearing the brunt of this pandemic.
No matter the situation, Lamentations 3:27 states this clearly, that it is good for a man to bear the yoke (of suffering) in his youth. This Scripture strikes against the philosophical fiber of modern clinical psychology. Suggesting that the yoke we bear in our youth is good, not damaging. It is good, not woeful. It is good, not detrimental. It is good, not because God intends to scar a man's soul for life, but because He intends to prepare the soil of his soul to absorb the tremendous mercy and compassion from the Lord and later testify of it with the utmost sincerity and perspective (Lamentations 3:32).

The days of your youth represent the time at which you can learn and be moulded in a Godly manner. You know the old saying, "You cannot teach an old dog new tricks?" As people grow, they get set in their ways, and it gets difficult for them to be taught new skills or behaviour.
So often, young people use the gift of time to get involved in sin, which separates them from God. With the available time comes numerous distractions, which seek to attract and destroy the lives of young people.
The days of youth signify strength and vigour. During this time, as a young person, you are energetic, lively, healthy and fit, growing, vibrant and quite often willing to take risks.
These characteristics
can be a blessing but can also be a curse if not applied wisely. God has blessed young people with the strength and energy to serve Him and do His will.
Young people's time, strength and vigour are so often spent on various things such as alcohol, drugs, unrighteous relationships and other time wasters such as television, games, social media platforms etc. Some time wasters may not be sinful when used appropriately, but when used excessively they may become addictive and destructive. Instead of seeking out the pleasures ot this world, we are called to rather pursue righteousness, lait love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart (I1 Timothy 2 :22)

The phrase "accepted in the beloved" has rich meaning. "The Beloved" is Jesus; and through our union with Him, we are not merely tolerated or pitied, we are accepted. Our past may be stained, our records flawed; but God's grace has made room for us at His table.
In our text, the Apostle Paul reminds us that we have been predestined deliberately chosen by God -to become His children through Jesus Christ. This was not by accident or merit, but "according to the good pleasure of His will."
By this acceptance, we are no longer orphans, outsiders, or wanderers. We are heirs, sons and daughters, fully embraced in the household of God. This truth should destroy all feelings of unworthiness and insecurity. We do not work for this acceptance; it is a gift of grace that we Simply receive by faith.
Let this reality shape your identity: you are accepted not because of who you are, but because of whose you are. When God sees you, He sees you through Christ the Beloved One and He is pleased to call you His own.
