He then sent an email:
"Every change has to start somewhere; from now on, whenever the temperature exceeds 30°C, men may wear shorts in the office.
The only requirement is that they keep a pair of full-length trousers with them at all times, so that if a guest arrives or a formal meeting is scheduled, they can change into them immediately!!!"
| 2 |  It was nearly 40°C - extremely hot and humid.
During that time, a German director at our company expressed his frustration about what he saw as an unfair difference in expectations between men and women in Western workplaces.
He said:
‘Why are there virtually no rules about what women can wear?!
They can dress however they like, while all the strict dress codes seem to apply only to men.
In this unbearable heat, we're not even allowed to wear shorts.’
What he said reminded me of the words of Martyr Imam Khamenei!
I've seen this countless times at official events in Europe and the United States: the men are all dressed in suits and ties, while many of the women are wearing revealing outfits.
What made it particularly interesting was that these remarks didn't come from someone who is critical of Western thinking.
Instead, they came from a German director who was expressing his frustration at what he perceived to be a contradiction and a clear double standard. ☘️ | 16 |
| 3 | How Modestly They Walk!
When Prophet Moses(as) fled Egypt after the incident that had taken place, he entrusted his heart entirely to Allah(swt). Although he found himself in extremely difficult circumstances - circumstances in which anyone might naturally feel anxious, distressed, or overwhelmed - he remained steadfast.
All the years he had spent as a prince in Pharaoh's palace had seemingly come to nothing. He had once occupied the position of royalty, yet because of a single unforeseen event, everything changed in an instant.
He was no longer a prince; he was now a fugitive. His situation could easily have led to despair, hopelessness, anger, or even resentment. Yet instead, he turned to Allah(swt) and submitted himself completely:
"My Lord, whatever You decree is best. Guide me wherever You will."
Allah(swt) answered his trust by guiding him safely to the land of Madyan.
When Prophet Moses(as) arrived there, he sat beside a well to rest for a while. He noticed a group of men drawing water, while two young women stood back, waiting at a distance.
He asked them, "What is your situation?"
They replied, "Our father is an elderly man, and we must care for the flock ourselves. We are waiting until the crowd disperses before we approach the well."
Prophet Moses(as) stepped forward, and drew water for them. The two women then returned home.
Some time later, they came back and said, "Our father has invited you."
Although Prophet Moses(as) had lost everything and was living as a stranger with no home or security, he accepted the invitation and set off with them.
Now pay close attention to what happens next.
Allah(swt) says in Surah Al-Qasas, verse 25:
"She came to him walking with modesty." (tamshī ʿalā istiḥyāʾ)
Prophet Moses(as) observed that the young woman walking ahead carried herself with remarkable modesty. Modesty was deeply rooted in her character - so much so that it was evident even in the way she walked.
At the same time, Prophet Moses(as) also acted with honour and ghayrah. He said to the two young women - who were the daughters of Prophet Shu'ayb (as):
"I shall walk ahead. Whenever I need to change direction, simply throw a small stone so that I know which way to turn."
Notice the beauty of both behaviours.
The young women preserved their modesty, and Prophet Moses(as) preserved appropriate boundaries and respect.
Both examples deserve our attention. Having been nurtured by divine revelation, Prophet Moses acted with honourable ghayrah, not with bold familiarity or inappropriate confidence.
Contrast this with much of today's world, where some actors and public figures seize every opportunity to strike up conversations with women for no good reason.
One of Allah's righteous servants once remarked:
"Years ago there were long queues everywhere - for meat, onions, and many other necessities.
Whenever I joined a queue and found a woman standing directly in front of me, I would deliberately wait for another man to arrive so that I could stand behind him instead, leaving an appropriate distance.
If I was going to stand in that queue for an hour, why should I stand immediately behind a woman? Why should I not preserve proper boundaries?
Yet you would see another man using every excuse to chat with the woman in front of him or behind him, always wearing a smile.
I often wondered whether he smiled so much at home, or whether that smile only appeared when speaking to women.
Sadly, even in many workplaces today, interactions have become increasingly characterised by a lack of modesty."
And we seek refuge in Allah(swt) from casual, unnecessary familiarity with non-mahrams in the online world as well. ☘ | 45 |
| 4 | We usually surround ourselves with people who are weak - the weaker members of society.
We haven't made a habit of examining our own moral shortcomings and then seeking out people who are free of those flaws, so that we can spend time with them and grow through their influence. ☘ | 87 |
| 5 |  Let us seek the company of those who are the most virtuous, the most pious, and the most honourable in character; there is no better path to growth than being in their company. ☘ | 77 |
| 6 | From the moment a person truly finds themselves, they should seek out those who belong to the heavens and keep their company.
Companionship is of immense importance.The one you keep close determines the direction of your journey. A companion from the "third heaven" draws you toward the third heaven.
How do we become people like that? By spending time with the people of the heavens. They are not consumed by the vices of this world, nor are they lost in heedlessness.
A good companion helps a person grow. A spiritually developed companion nurtures spiritual growth. Let us seek out the most spiritually developed people in our community and keep their company.
This was one of the great secrets of Imam Hussain's caravan: companionship. Companionship with Imam Hussain(as), alongside figures such as Hazrat Abu al-fadl al-Abbas(as) and Ali-Akbar(as). In a short time, people were transformed because they were influenced by Imam Hussain(as).
A person does not truly grow simply by reading books or attending classes. Those things may provide knowledge, but real growth comes through the company of those who embody what they know. ☘ | 67 |

"Know that people's needs - especially those of your parents - are among Allah's blessings upon you. So never grow weary of serving them, for if you do, those blessings may be given to someone else."

Sometimes, Allah(swt) chooses a person to be the means through which He completes His blessing upon others. That is why He places the care of parents on their shoulders.☘ | 69 |
| 8 | 🤲 O Allah, gather our distress and confusion by the help of Your Wali, the Awaited Qaim, the One longed for, and the Expected Establisher of Justice.
🤲 And through him, unite our scattered state, bring together our divisions, increase our small number, grant us honour after our humiliation, enrich us after our poverty, settle our debts through his blessings, and make up for our need through his assistance.
🤲 And through him, remove our separation and disunity, make our difficult affairs easy, brighten our faces through the blessing of seeing him, and set our captives free by his support.
🤲 Fulfil our needs for his sake, bring Your promises to fulfilment through his reappearance, answer our prayers because of him.
🤲 And grant us our requests for his sake. Through him, enable us to attain the aspirations of this world and the Hereafter, and bestow upon us even more than we could ever hope for.
🤲 O Best of those from whom requests are sought, O Most Generous of givers, heal our hearts through him, remove the rancour from our hearts by means of him.
🤲 And through him, by Your permission, guide us to the truth concerning that over which people have differed. Indeed, You guide whomsoever You will to the Straight Path.
🤲 And through him, grant us victory over Your enemies and our enemies. O Allah, Amin!

| 9 |  Neither do I want that cloak, nor do I want that honour!
A beautiful story from the life of Ayatollah Fateminia(ra):
The son of Ayatollah Fateminia narrates:
“One day, my father and I were going to an important gathering. When he came out of the house, I noticed that he was not wearing his cloak.
I asked him, ‘Where is your cloak?’
He replied, ‘Your mother was asleep, so I covered her with it.’
I said to him, ‘Going without your cloak will be embarrassing and will affect your reputation.’
He replied: ‘If my honour in people’s eyes depends on this cloak, and this cloak comes at the cost of waking your mother from her sleep, then I want neither the cloak nor that honour. I am willing to let this reputation go.’ "❤️ | 59 |
| 10 | One of the most insightful sermons in Nahj al-Balagha 👇
بسماللهالرّحمنالرّحیم
The Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali(as) said:
In these times, people fall into four groups:
👉 The first group refrain from corruption only because they lack the strength, their swords are blunt, and they have no financial means.
👉 The second group have drawn their swords and openly spread mischief and corruption. They have assembled their foot soldiers and cavalry, and stand ready to shed the blood of others.
They have sacrificed their religion in pursuit of worldly wealth, seeking either to become the leader of a faction or to ascend the pulpit and deliver sermons. What a wretched bargain it is to value this world above your own soul, exchanging it for what is with Allah(swt)
👉 The third group seek this world through deeds that outwardly belong to the Hereafter, yet they do not pursue the Hereafter through the ordinary affairs of this world.
They make a show of humility and modesty, walk with affected, measured steps, gather up their garments, adorn themselves to resemble true believers, and use the outward appearance of piety as a cloak for hypocrisy, duplicity, and worldly ambition.
👉 The fourth group have been deprived of power through their weakness, humiliation, and lack of means. They adorn themselves with the guise of contentment and wear the clothing of ascetics, though at no time - by night or by day - have they ever truly belonged among the sincere ascetics.
✨ Amid all these, only a small remnant remains; the remembrance of the Day of Resurrection has turned their eyes away from everything else, and the fear of the Final Reckoning has brought tears to their eyes.
🌸 Some have been driven from society and live in solitude.
🌼 Others live in fear, oppressed, or have chosen silence.
🪷 Some continue, with complete sincerity, to call people to Allah(swt)
🌻 Others weep in sorrow and anguish. Their caution and self-restraint have caused them to be overlooked by people, and weakness has overwhelmed them, as though they were submerged in a sea of salt.
Their mouths are closed, and their hearts are wounded. They have counselled others until they are exhausted, been oppressed until they have become frail, and suffered so many losses that only a handful of them remain. | 54 |

| 12 | What should become far more powerful and meaningful in our eyes is this 👇
That Allah(swt), through the Imam of our time (atf), brought people into the arena.
This should matter to us far more than the falling of aircraft, the destruction of missiles, or any other material victory.
Imagine, for a moment, that one night we said: “Ten aircraft were brought down.” What true value would that have for us compared to this?
The fact that, in a single night, Allah moved hearts, awakened people, and brought them forward into the field - this is a far greater victory, and its value should be far more evident to us.
🌸 Blessed are those who answer the call of the Imam (atf). The Imam(atf) seeks to bring people into society through the light of divine guidance. The people do not resist that light; they respond to it, they come forward, and they stand alongside the truth.
Dear Sisters & Brothers, this is the reality of religion. Religion is not merely words - religion is obedience and submission to the Imam (as).
O our beloved Mawla! If this is what you desire, then we are ready. We have come.
👉 This is the meaning of Shi'ism: to accompany the Imam(as), to walk with him, to support his will, to follow his desire, and to stand with his actions.
🌸 Blessed are those who, throughout all these nights, have entered the field and remained present - each in their own way and in their own arena.
🌸 Through their presence, they have brought disappointment to the enemies, both internal and external, and they have given hope to believers everywhere. | 91 |
| 13 | بسماللهالرّحمنالرّحیم
Dear Sisters & Brothers,
✨ Let us develop eyes that recognise Allah's Ayat.
✨ Let us look at the world through a lens that enables us - especially in times of war - to recognise Allah's Ayat through the Ahl al-Bayt (as).
✨ Let us not fall prey to the enemy's narratives. Instead, let us train ourselves to recognise Allah's Ayat and the Wilayah of the Ahl al-Bayt (as).
✨ The Wilayah of the Ahl al-Bayt (as) is always at work, but it becomes especially manifest in times of trial - and even more so during war.
✨ Let us become seekers of Allah's Ayat and the manifestations of Wilayah.
Whenever we meet others, let us ask:
⁉️ "Have you recognised any manifestation of the Wilayah of the Ahl al-Bayt (as) in this recent war that I have not recognised? Please share it with me, so that I too may learn and reflect upon it."
Or:
⁉️ "Have you noticed an Ayah of Allah in these events that I have overlooked? Share it with me, so that I too may recognise it and reflect upon it."
👉 Consider this. On the first day of the Third Imposed War, as soon as it was announced that Agha had been martyred, many people celebrated and rejoiced. It seemed that events would continue in that direction, and many expected exactly that, especially after what they had experienced in the month of Dey.
Yet by the very next day, everything had changed. Who changed it? Who has the power to transform events on such a vast scale?
👉 Even now, months after the beginning of the Third Imposed War, you can switch on the TV and see people in cities, towns and villages across the country who continue to stand firm.
⁉️ What does this tell us? Who can sustain such steadfastness? Why have they not grown weary? What is this reality that has spread throughout the nation? What is it that keeps people from losing heart?
❌ Sadly, many of our scholars have acquired information rather than true knowledge. They explain these events in terms of culture, Iranian civilisation, or other worldly causes. They have not learnt to understand them through the Qur'an. Instead, they put forward explanations of their own making.
👉 Reflect on this one reality: months have passed since the beginning of the Third Imposed War, yet this steadfastness continues. This is a miracle of Allah through the Ahl al-Bayt (as). For months now, we have been living within this great miracle.
⁉️ Do my eyes recognise this miracle? Those with greater insight recognise it as a miracle. If I cannot see it, I should question myself - not those with greater insight. Why am I unable to recognise this miracle? What is preventing me from seeing it?
⁉️ First, we must recognise the miracle. Then we must ask: How should we respond to it? Why is the Imam of our time(atf) bringing about this miracle? Through the language of these events, what is he seeking to teach us?
👉 These questions should fill our minds, and each day our answers should become deeper and more complete. If today's answer is no more complete than yesterday's, then I have not grown. If my answer today is the same as it was a week ago, then I have made no progress.
👉 Let these questions remain alive within us:
🌼 We are living and breathing within a miracle.
🌼 Who is bringing about this miracle?
🌼 Why is He bringing it about?
🌼 If this miracle had not taken place, what would have become of us?
🌼 What is Allah(swt) teaching us through the language of this miracle?
🌼 The Imam of our time(atf) is speaking to us through the language of unfolding events. What is he saying?
🌼 To what extent am I responding to this message?
🌼 To what extent am I bringing myself into harmony with it?
🤲 Dear Sisters & Brothers, may these questions remain alive in our hearts and minds. | 79 |

"The enemy's attack proved that many of the assumptions and calculations made by some people, whether in politics or elsewhere, were wrong.
The enemy's true face was revealed. Its hidden objectives - those it has never openly acknowledged - have, to a large extent, been exposed." | 81 |
| 15 | Martyr Imam Khamenei said:
“When Nahj al-Balagha is placed alongside the Qur'an, it is unquestionably second only to the Qur'an.
There is no other book that matches it in authenticity, depth, breadth, and historical significance.
Reviving Nahj al-Balagha is not just the responsibility of the Shi'a - it is the responsibility of every Muslim.
Just as Muslims believe they should build a close relationship with the Qur'an, and consider not knowing it to be a serious shortcoming, not knowing Nahj al-Balagha should also be regarded as a serious deficiency.”

A Few Honest Questions:
⁉️ Have we ever set out for the City of Knowledge?
(Prophet(pbuh): "I am the City of Knowledge, and Ali(as) is its gate.")
⁉️ Have we entered through its Gate?
⁉️ How many times have we read Nahj al-Balagha from beginning to end?
⁉️ Do we truly know the priceless treasure it contains?
⁉️ Have we learned about Allah(swt) - the very first foundation of our faith - and come to know His majestic attributes through the profound words of Nahj al-Balagha?
⁉️ If the Qur'an is the Book we recite every day, shouldn't Nahj al-Balagha be among the books we study throughout our lives? | 82 |

| 19 | Three weeks ago, the temperature in Germany hit 40°C. For almost two weeks, it was unbearably hot and humid. (It’s still hot now, but not as bad as it was then.)
Well, buildings here are designed to retain heat during the winter and reduce energy consumption, so air conditioning is almost nonexistent in homes.
From what I heard, several people in France - and possibly in Germany as well - lost their lives because of the extreme heat.
I had a doctor’s appointment during those days. The day before my appointment, my doctor emailed me saying, “Due to the extreme heat and the fact that we don’t have air conditioning, we’re canceling your appointment and rescheduling it for next week.”
People were genuinely suffering from the heat.
Thankfully, I had bought a fan. Otherwise, I honestly don’t know how I would have gotten through it - even though I live in a relatively new apartment in a nice part of the city.
But here is the interesting part 👇
Yesterday I was talking to my dad in Iran. He told me that one of our Iranian relatives, who lives in Germany and is an opponent of the Islamic Republic, had called to check in and said, “You should come to Germany - the weather here is fantastic!” 😳😳😳
The interesting part is that the city they live in had almost exactly the same temperatures as mine.
I told my dad, “It’s amazing how political bias can make some people deny even the most obvious realities. They won’t acknowledge problems in the West even when they’re happening right in front of everyone.”
Why is that? Why are some people so blind to the shortcomings of Western countries?
Meanwhile, when our German director heard that several people had died from the heat in France, he said Germany had probably also experienced a high number of heat-related deaths, but that the authorities didn’t want the public to know. ☘ | 129 |
| 20 |  At the time of Imam Hussain(as), most people were too busy living their own lives. Some were even engaged in worship, performing the Hajj.
They didn't truly awaken until it was too late - until the Imam(as) had already been martyred. 💔 | 153 |
