In my opinion, having a part-time job can be beneficial for students, provided that it does not interfere with their academic responsibilities. One of the main advantages of working during studies is that students can develop valuable life skills. For instance, part-time employment teaches young people how to manage their time effectively, communicate with colleagues, and handle real-world responsibilities. These experiences are often difficult to gain in a classroom environment alone. Moreover, earning their own money can help students become more independent and financially responsible. Another important benefit is that work experience may improve students’ future career prospects. Employers often prefer candidates who already understand workplace expectations and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Even simple jobs can help students build confidence and learn professional behaviour. However, it is important that students maintain a balance between work and education.
