Alhamdulillaah our Summer Campers will be showcasing their work and presenting their research projects to students of knowledge and general audience in shaa Allaah this Saturday.
As we move towards delivering accredited courses and recognising their achievements we are pleased to see the enthusiasm and determination of our campers to get their awards. Alhamdulillaah.

| 2 |  Second week highlights at the Nurture Islaam Kids Summer camp was all about reading and learning benefits from the biographies of the young Sahaabah. They learn how to create biographies on canva. They did a marvelous job. Alhamdulillaah.
They also completed tracing a pattern using relief paste for their glass painting master piece.
And they explored a more complex cross stitch design.

| 4 |  +2Usually when I post a companion quiz I get a lot of answers via PM/DM, but this time I got the answers only from my summer campers who are just under 10. Alhamdulillaah.
Knowing our companions and their life stories is a must for children and adults. So many lessons and so many benefits!

| 5 | Alhamdulillaah! Our Nurture Islaam Kids' and Boys' Summer Camps have completed an amazing first week filled with beneficial knowledge, practical skills, and lots of fun.
Our girls and boys were a joy to teach. They enthusiastically participated in the lessons as they learnt about how Islaam spread into North Africa and were introduced to the inspiring lives of the Seven Abdullaahs (radiyallaahu anhum). They also explored beautiful Islamic geometric designs in preparation for their glass painting project and did an excellent job learning the basics of cross-stitch. Just look at how neat and impressive their work is—maa shaa Allaah!
Our teen boys thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Ustadh Abu Afnan through engaging lessons, discussions, and mentorship. They explored the life of the author, studied the introduction to Al-Qawaaid al-Arba', completed writing activities, learnt the Muqaddimah. They also learnt why Tawheed is the foundation of our religion and how correct belief shapes our lives. As part of their research project, they were introduced to the principles of authentic Islamic research before selecting their own research topics and formulating their research questions.
Just two or three classes a day, yet look at the amount of knowledge and skills they have gained in just one week. Alhamdulillaah!
If your children were not part of our camps this year, these are just some of the wonderful learning experiences they have missed. We hope to welcome them next year, in shaa Allaah.
Week 2 begins this Monday, and we can't wait to see what our students will discover next! May Allaah bless this journey of learning and allow our students to continue benefiting from both knowledge and practical skills. Aameen. | 285 |

This summer, we will teach our young campers how to create their very own digital biography project using Canva.
Digital designing is much more than choosing a nice template. It is a skill and an art that teaches children how to organise information, think creatively, and present their work in a professional manner.
Our children are already spending time on devices. Why not teach them to use technology in a way that is beneficial and productive?
The kids will choose one of the Seven Abdullaahs, research his life, and design a beautiful digital biography. While creating their project, they will also develop valuable research, writing, digital design, and presentation skills.
The best part? On successful completion, they will receive a Certificate from a UK awarding organisation to recognise the skills they have achieved. In shaa Allaah.

Today, research is often about asking endless questions and deciding for ourselves what is true. While asking questions is important, a Muslim begins with something greater—the Qur'an and the authentic Sunnah. We research to understand, appreciate, verify, and apply the guidance that Allaah has already revealed.
Research in Islam is not about questioning the wisdom of Allaah's commands. It is about seeking beneficial knowledge with sincerity, using authentic sources, understanding the explanations of the scholars, and learning how to present knowledge correctly.
At our Summer Youth Camp, the boys will develop these valuable research skills through studying the Muqaddimah of Ibn Zayd and Qawaaid al Arbaa and Tafseer of the Shahaadah by Shaykh Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhaab. They will learn how to:

| 19 | Building the Next Generation of Muslim Leaders: A Male Mentorship Initiative
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
We are pleased to announce the launch of the EDIA’s new Student Mentorship Program, designed to encourage, support and guide our middle school and high school boys as they navigate this very critical stage of their lives.
Today, our Muslims teenagers face real challenges — adhering to the religion, academic pressure, questions of identity, social media influences, peer pressure, and the search for accessible positive role models. This initiative aims to surround them with upright, practicing, positive, and dependable brothers who can offer guidance and hands on advice rooted in the sunnah paired with personal real life experiences aimed to encourage them in their studies, preparing for their future endeavors, and a steady example of what it means to grow into a responsible Muslim man.
What the program involves:
Regular one-on-one or small-group sessions between a mentor and student(s).
Conversations on faith, character (akhlaq), goal-setting, and everyday challenges.
Modeling the prophetic example of brotherhood, patience, and sincere counsel (naseeha).
A consistent, caring presence our boys can trust.
We are seeking volunteer mentors (this is not a paid position)— practicing brothers from known Salafi communities who are willing to give a small amount of their time (once every 2 months) to make a lasting difference. No special qualifications are required beyond sound belief and understanding of the religion, good character, reliability, positive contributions to their respective communities and a sincere desire to serve. Training and ongoing support will be provided, and all mentors will be vetted in line with EDIA safeguarding policies.
The Prophet ﷺ said, "The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion, and sympathy are like one body."
What you get when volunteering is the opportunity to be that supporting limb for the next generation and make a positive difference.
