Anthony Bray, a 48-year-old man from the UK, has been sentenced to four months in prison for carrying a six-inch replica of the Master Sword from The Legend of Zelda in public.
Despite Bray's argument that the miniature sword was merely a collectible and a "fidget" item, the court ruled it posed a public safety concern.
On June 8, Warwickshire Police spotted Bray via CCTV with the item in his hand, leading to his arrest for carrying a bladed article.
The police noted that the sharply pointed replica could be perceived as a weapon, causing fear among the public.
