Leads from ads ghosting you? Try this to get replies FAST 💨 It’s no secret, Rainmakers. Leads generated by ads are dropping in quality - significantly. Automated texts are getting way fewer confirmations. Clients are much more flaky now. You have to secure commitment to ensure leads actually show up to the appointment. If you’re struggling, you’re certainly not alone.  There are many proven ways to combat it… But the main principle is always to get them to respond FIRST before you try to convert. Break it up into micro steps, and you see BIG increases in conversions. Steal one of my favourite techniques to boost responses. Works like a charm >> Rooting for you, - Shannon

When my 4 year-old won’t let me quit 💪 Everything gets hard when we want to grow, Rainmakers. But if your dreams are important enough to you - You’ve got to be willing to do the hard things, even on days when you feel like giving up. Just because something is difficult doesn’t mean you’re incapable of doing it. Sometimes, the very things we struggle with are the things that help us grow the most. You’re capable of far more than you imagine, Rainmakers, if you just know how to keep moving forward. This message didn’t come from me, but my 4 year-old. Watch it for your daily dose of motivation >> Rooting for you, - Shannon

Don't know how to handle objections? Watch this ‌👇 Hey Rainmakers, What if closing is also about understanding how to stay calm when you don’t know what to say?  Many times if you find yourself stuck in a sales conversation… It’s mostly a lack of data about the prospect. These questions help you to assess and find new entry points to close.  They are super simple and just works. Catch ‘em all here >> Rooting for you, - Shannon

Breaking down the Wolf of Wall Street 📝 Hey Rainmakers, The reason I love sales? It’s high-speed persuasion. Power dynamics, emotive languaging, name-calling for attention, addressing hidden objections, the list goes on. Recently, my team got me to react to an infamous scene from Wolf of Wall Street. To their surprise, I called out A LOT of techniques most people never heard of. Watch the breakdown here >> Enjoy! - Shannon

Before you spend $ on ads, watch this 📹 Hey Rainmakers, If you have the budget to run ads, should you? I would say if you never ran ads before - Hold on first. I’d rather you spend more time creating content. Because when you create content that pops, you can run that as an ad. But not the other way around. That’s just one of MANY reasons I share here >> Agree or disagree? Let me know in the comments! Rooting for you, - Shannon

Talk less. Close more.(Reminder for the day) Hey Rainmakers, No IG reel today. Wanted to remind you to talk less in your appointments. Ask more questions. Be genuinely curious about the prospect and why the prospect is there. Find out their pains, problems, desires, and dreams. Show your love and care for them. Then, and only then, channel them to your offers. This simple practice will help you close more than you believe (and more referrals). Rooting for you, - Shannon

"You're the salesperson, follow my schedule" NOPE ❌ Hey Rainmakers, Someone asked me this: "Shannon, they agree to meet. Then suddenly got meeting. Suddenly got this, got that. Postpone, postpone, postpone." I told him: "Do you think my time is for free, brother?" Everyone laughed. But I was serious. If your prospects keep rescheduling, it's not their calendar. It's something that happened on the call. A mistake I see far too many salespeople make. I broke down exactly what I do instead. Including the one sentence I always say before I hang up. Watch it here >> Have a great weekend ahead, - Shannon

You’re not for everyone (and that's the point) Hey Rainmakers, For a long time, I was trapped. Not by targets. Not by money. But by fear. The fear of showing people who I really am. And who I really am isn't always easy to like. I'm highly introverted. I'm a straight mouth. I say what I think. I'm selective about who I spend my time with. I show up for the people who showed up for me, and I give the same back. Some people call that unapproachable. Maybe it is. But the same thing that makes me selective also makes me deadly loyal. If you've been kind to me, generous with me, there for me, I will go all in for you. It took me years to realise I was doing the opposite in sales. I was trying to be liked by every prospect. Softening my opinions so no one felt uncomfortable. Saying yes to clients who drained me. Chasing people who were never going to buy, just because I couldn't stand the idea of someone walking away. I thought that was being professional. It was just being afraid. Here's what I finally accepted: Not every prospect is your client. And that's okay. When you show up as yourself, you will lose some deals. Some people won't like how direct you are. Some will disagree with how you work. Let them go. That's not being transactional. That's being intentional about who you want to serve. Because the moment I stopped trying to please everyone, something changed. I stopped attracting everyone. I started attracting my people. Clients who trusted me because I was honest with them. Clients who stayed. Clients who sent me their friends. Trust me - clients who truly get you is worth more than a pipeline full of people you're pretending for. So this week, ask yourself one question: What's one thing you do in sales right now just to make people like you? Rooting for you. - Shannon

“I have a low budget” vs $60M closer 💪 Rainmakers, If there’s one objection we hear a lot - It’s “that’s too expensive” or “I have a low budget”. The thing is - It’s ALWAYS about the price until they see the value. I share one of my favourite “price reframes” here >> Have a great weekend ahead! - Shannon

Nobody teaches women this about closing men 😶 Rainmakers, If you are a woman in sales… You have an unfair advantage. Some of the top closers are women - and it's not a coincidence. It's because they know how to sell to men without triggering the "me vs. you" wall... ... that men put up the second they feel like they're being sold to. These top saleswomen make it feel like they're on your side, not working against you. (And if you're a man reading this - pay attention. This breakdown works even better once you see it from her angle.) I share the most common mistake when selling to men (and how to easily fix it) >> Rooting for you, - Shannon

Become disgustingly good at social media ☺️ Rainmakers, Here’s how to get non-stop followers on social media. It’s not about chasing trends or doing dance videos. It’s a lot more boring, but dangerously effective. I copied this same approach, and I doubled my followers in 3 months. Took me a few years to reach 11K followers. And then just 2-3 months to reach 20K after I did this. You got this. - Shannon

This small mistake costs realtors millions 💸 Rainmakers, This is the #1 mistake realtors make. The reason is simple: In a sea of thousands of realtors selling the same property… Doing this makes you sound just like everybody else. And leads inevitably ghost you. Instead, you want to close people on you first. Once you secure that, any property they see - they will ask you about it. But none of that matters if you make this small mistake at the start. Sharing this because I want you to win 💪 Rooting for you, - Shannon

How to deal with c***blockers in sales Rainmakers, This may be my most “out-there” reel yet. I was asked at an event how to deal with third parties. You know the classic “I need to talk to my husband / wife”? There’s an art to handling it when you are in the same group chat with that person. It’s all about paying sincere compliments to the right person. Check it out. Rooting for you, - Shannon

Steal this social media hack (for salespeople) Rainmakers, Some of my mentees ask me about trial reels. And how do I decide what goes to trial (pun intended). And which reel goes on my main grid. Believe it or not, I follow an algorithm. I got this from learning from some of the top content creators in the business space. And it is stupid simple to follow. I explain it here >> Rooting for you, -Shannon

Prospects ghosting you? Do this Hey Rainmakers, If you ever had prospects ghost you… It’s usually because of how you allowed them to treat you. I tell my students to do this instead to make prospects chase them >> Rooting for you, - Shannon

Are you doing this, Rainmakers? Most salespeople play not to lose. They soften the pitch. They wait for the buying signal before they ask. They leave money on the table because a smaller ask feels safer than a no. The thing is, you're getting rejected either way. The soft version gets rejected. The safe version gets rejected. The version where you asked for less than you wanted still gets rejected sometimes. Rejection isn't the variable you control. Your shot is. So if you're going to hear no, hear it swinging. Ask for the number you actually want first, not the one you think they'll accept. Pitch the offer you believe in, not the watered-down one that's easier to defend if it falls flat. Make the call you've been putting off because the good version of that conversation felt too bold. Playing not to lose feels safe. But it’s not. It just fails quietly instead of loudly, and quiet failure is the one that never teaches you anything. Play offense. Worst case, you get the same no you were getting anyway. Rooting for you, - Shannon

The “c” word you must know about social media Rainmakers, I’ve been focusing a lot on social media. Learning all there is to know, consulting experts, paying top dollar. Because social media amplifies your message. If you want to go viral - You have to embrace the “c” word. Be comfortable with it and you’ll go far. - Shannon

Can being too friendly make you look unprofessional? 🤔 Rainmakers, If you ever felt unsure whether to act casual or serious with your prospect - There’s a simple rule I follow. It makes even the most sensitive topics easy to approach. Curious? Watch this to see how I do it >> Rooting for you. - Shannon

Took me years to learn this about social media… Most people don’t know s*** about social media, Rainmakers. Yes, even the gurus. Which is why I tell my students - not everything you post needs to go viral. Here’s what I mean >> If anything, knowing this “hack” makes them enjoy creating content more. - Shannon

The wife agrees but the husband… 😳 Rainmakers, We hear “I need to talk to my husband / wife” all the time. But what happens when they are talking in front of you… ... and they are arguing? What do you do then? I’ve been there, done that. Here’s exactly what I’ll do. No scripts needed >> - Shannon
