It sucks he had marital problems. It sucks he showed up drunk to work. And I'm glad he's trying to self-imptove, but those are excuses, not reasons.
People in prison have zero power. Those who hold the power tell you when to go to sleep, when to wake up, when you can move, where you can go, what you can do, when you can eat, what you can eat, etc., ad nauseum.
People in power positions have the authority to lock you down, lock you up, flip/search your cell, send you to solitary confinement, write you up, remove your ability to make calls, go to work, go to commissary, add more time to your sentence, etc.
Imagine having a seizure disorder on top of this -- a shocking number did! -- so now your ability to physically survive is also in the hands of someone who is drunk and is horny and has marital problems and is lusting for you. Then he wants you to suck him. What do you do?
He saw this. He understood this. He had all the power and he abused it.
