| 3 | +4Here’s a little encouragement from St. John Paul II: be not afraid!💪
A man of great zeal and love, he wasn’t a stranger to hardship and fear, from living through the Nazi occupation in Poland, to surviving an assassination attempt. Through it all, he remained steadfast in faith, taking courage in Christ at every step, and constantly encouraging young people to do the same!
As we celebrate his feast day today, Marie shares how he has inspired her own faith, and shown her that a life of holiness isn’t just possible but beautiful. ❤️🔥📝
St. John Paul II, patron saint of young Catholics, pray for us! 🙏 | 1 602 |

Today, Natalie shares how he has inspired her faith, accompanying her in her own journey to deepen her love for Christ present in the Eucharist. Read her full reflection here! 📝

But, Christ reminds us that rest is simple, and found in His arms. So, we pray that you'll make the time to return to His embrace; whether it's a short time of prayer, visiting the Adoration room or even going for daily Mass. 🙏
May our restless hearts find rest in Him! ♥️ | 2 372 |

| 13 | +4This one's for all of us who've been feeling small.
It's the feast of St. Therese of Lisieux, a woman of great faith, and the youngest Doctor of the Church. Hers is a story of embracing littleness, and using even the smallest of everyday acts as a means to grow in holiness. 🙌
Hannah shares how she has been inspired by St. Therese, who continues to show her how to walk in her own 'Little Way' towards the Lord everyday. Read her full article here.
St. Therese, pray for us! 🥀🙏 | 2 037 |
| 14 | What’s happening at the northwest part of Singapore next month? 👀
Our last Nox Gaudii of the year will be held on Friday, 23 October at St Joseph’s Church (Bukit Timah)!
What stirs our hearts? Who are we really yearning for? St John Paul II points us to the One who calls us first:
It is Jesus you seek when you dream of happiness; it is He who provokes you with that thirst for fullness that will not let you settle for compromise. (St John Paul II, Feast Day 22 Oct).
Allow Him to show you how He is moving and drawing you to fullness in Him. Come and see!

Truth, beauty, and goodness continue to persist even amidst the ugliness of chaos, suffering, and strife.
We pray that you’ll recognise Christ, present in the beauty of it all. Not just in what meets the eye, but in the quiet work He is doing within each of our hearts. | 2 485 |

| 18 | Treasure #18: Encounter Retreat for Young Working Adults (6 – 9 Nov)
What does a faithful, steadfast love look like?
It’s a willingness to keep reaching out, even when we’ve turned away. It’s a gentle knock at our hearts’ door, even when we’ve shut it tight. It’s a welcome that awaits us, no matter how long we’ve been away. 🫂
Vincent thought the door to Treasure was closed to him. But God had other plans. He opened a way for Vincent to be there — and to discover what it means to come to fullness in Him. ❤️🔥
Do not be afraid. The fullness of Christ's love awaits you at Treasure #18.
