The fear mongering from the same guys who are making the AI is telling.
What exactly is their agenda?

OpenAI is positioning itself at the center of a debate that will define how — or whether — the most powerful AI systems in history get AI regulation.

It is very interesting though, that people like Bill Gates are now warning for the dangers of AI.
That can mean two things:
Either it's a warning of what is to come... (like his warning for a pandemic)
Or:
Trump has indeed taken over control and the elite is now trying to mobilize people to oppose these centers...
We need some time and proof to find out which of these is true.

Trump is going full force against people opposing the AI datacenters, like me.
He says it's a hoax like Russia and climate change, declaring war against everyone who spreads this 'conspiracy'.
This is interesting for multiple reasons. For me, the AI datacenter developments feels like the completion of a total control state. It does destroy our environment more than anything else, using up our water and electricity.
If I were to make a comparison, the AI datacenter race can be compared to the nuclear weapon race.
It's a never ending story about who has the most, best and fastest weapons/AI.
I'm not against AI centers in the US specifically. I'm against these centers everywhere in the world. In the Netherlands, farmers are being removed from their land in favor of these centers.
How on earth can any of this be a good development?
Trump states that his Administration has stopped AI people from doing bad things. I can only hope so.
But still, this rat-race will not end, and we are the ones paying...
