Sweden has launched a new law which obliges companies to accept cash money again.
Sweden is a country often described as one of the world’s most cashless societies. It would be completely cash-free in 2023. But something has changed.
Under the pretext of crises and disruptions (the war-mongering with Russia), the Swedish government says the reform is intended to give Sweden a more resilient payment system. After years of rapid digitalization and cashless commerce, cash is thus returning as part of society’s preparedness infrastructure.
The Riksbank, Sweden’s central bank, has urged households to keep cash at home for preparedness.
Grocery stores and pharmacies will be required to accept cash payments.
Banks must also ensure that consumers can deposit cash and that companies have access to services for providing change and depositing daily receipts.
Will we see people line up for ATM's again? Will ATM's re-appear in the villages again?
Will this set an example for the rest of Europe?

The US Supreme Court has ruled that states may count postal ballots that arrive after election day, rejecting the Trump administration's challenge to invalidate a state law.
The outcome could have affected voting deadlines in more than a dozen states that will be pivotal in deciding which party controls Congress after this November's midterm elections.
The states that allow late-arriving postal ballots are mostly Democratic-leaning, although a few Republican-led jurisdictions also allow a grace period.
In the opinion, Justice Barrett wrote that the ruling does not conflict with existing federal law, which stipulates that the "Tuesday next after the 1st Monday in November" is the "day for the election".

Posts that used viral on X show “small ads” on Vinted. A brown stuffed animal is offered there as a “stuffed animal”, nine years old, female, white, and “virgin”. The price is 30,000 euros, or 31,500.70 euros with Vinted buyer protection (!). A second ad shows a blue plush octopus as code for a “boy, 10 months old, 70 cm” for the price of 4,000 euros. The wording uses exactly the same characteristics used in criminal networks to describe potential victims: age, gender, physical characteristics, and sexual virginity.

So Britain allows children from 11 years of age to join this 👆puberty-blocking experiment, but children up to 16 years should not be allowed on social media????
Researchers from KCL said it had been agreed that birth-registered females must be at least 11 years old while birth-registered males must be at least 12 to take part.
There had previously been no lower age limit, as researchers said “good ethical practice dictates that children who are clinically eligible should not be discriminated against on age alone”.
But they said a minimum age limit had now been agreed “as we think it is very unlikely that we would recruit young people under this age range”.
