⚖️  Clarity Act vote is tomorrow Tomorrow, September 15 at 21:15 Kyiv/Moscow time, the U.S. Senate will hold a procedural vote. 💎 What does this vote mean? This is a vote on “cloture on the motion to proceed”. In other words, it’s basically asking: “Does the Senate agree to even start considering this bill?” It’s not a vote on the text itself or on passing the bill. It’s only about allowing debate to begin. They need 60 votes. Republicans hold 53 seats, and at least two of them, Hawley and Paul, are considered opponents. That means they need at least nine Democrats. ✅If they manage to get 60 votes and the motion passes: 1️⃣ The Senate gets 30 hours for debate, quorum calls, reading amendments, etc. 2️⃣ After September 15-17, they’ll move on to further votes, amendments, and other procedural steps. 3️⃣ Presumably in late September or October, there would be a second cloture vote and a vote on the actual bill text. 4️⃣ Possibly in October, final passage in the Senate. 5️⃣ Only after November 3 could the House pass the Senate version, which differs from the version the House passed on July 17, 2025. 6️⃣The U.S. president signs it. 🔗 All useful info "click"
