"... as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD!" (Joshua 24:15) "I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12:3) "For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you," says the LORD, "plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11) "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1)

-3- Ask God what He wants you to do for yourself, for your home, for your family. Maybe He wants you to join with me and other believers as we move and pray specifically. Maybe He has something else for you to follow. Ask Him with an open, earnest heart. Trust Him. Find shelter and refuge in Him. Do not be afraid. The Holy Spirit gives us the authority needed to call forth and rebuke, and to declare and claim with unshakeable faith, in the name of Jesus!

-2- The Holy Spirit quickened my soul, telling me to stand outside our home in the morning and read Psalm 91. I went out the front door with my Bible, faced the front door and began to read. The Holy Spirit told me to read out loud, making a complete walk around the home -close to the edge of the property line in some areas, and where I could not access the Holy Spirit would move on my behalf. The Holy Spirit had me walk around once, but read Psalm 91 seven times. In between readings, I prayed out loud. I even stopped at our mailbox, touched it then prayed that only blessings would be placed in it, that we would not be harmed by anything in the mailbox. God’s calm and warmth and goodness filled me, stretching to every curve, nook, and end of my body. The Holy Spirit has entrusted me to stand outside (where is my choice) and read Psalm 91 once a day, totaling 40 days. Doing something like this is new to me. I do not feel anxious or afraid; I feel resolute and know the Holy Spirit will provide the boldness required to do this.

-1- At night when the family is sleeping, I regularly walk around inside our home -praying, petitioning, calling down, and rebuking in those quiet hours. Last week, I felt the Holy Spirit urge me to walk from room to room, place my hands on windows and doors then call out protection over our home in the name of Jesus. This past Sunday evening He gave new instructions.

TM: Excellent read from Vince Guerra! It’s so easy to get caught up in the negative. It’s equally easy to ignore the negative altogether and operate solely in the world of vapid distraction. Perpetually Angry Guy is just as lost as Blue-haired Tik-Tok Girl; both need a little more Jesus and a lot less Twitter in their lives. Our mental health lies in striking the proper balance between bold action and necessary rest — forceful advocacy on the one hand, and surrendering the things we can’t control into the hands of God on the other. https://vinceguerra.com/2024/04/10/are-you-feeling-excellent-today/

Oh that You would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains might quake at Your presence— as when fire kindles brushwood and the fire causes water to boil— to make Your name known to Your adversaries, and that the nations might tremble at Your presence! When You did awesome things that we did not look for, You came down, the mountains quaked at Your presence. From of old no one has heard or perceived by the ear, no eye has seen a God besides You, who acts for those who wait for Him. You meet him who joyfully works righteousness, those who remember You in Your ways. (Isaiah 64:1-5)

Our observations today: I woke up with a buzzing in my ears. Still going, in fact, and that is not something I usually experience. My son's hamster was up around 6 am, climbing, chewing then hiding, coming out, etc. over and over. She sleeps most of the time unless he gets her out. I decided this morning not to let bunny out because I wasn't sure if the eclipse would affect her. After I returned from my daughter's ortho appointment the other kids tell me how our normally quiet, sweet bunny was acting crazy. She seemed to settle down about 4 pm. We were all enjoying the solar eclipse. When it reached it's maximum coverage, casting its shadow, things felt eerie. Hard to explain. The birds quieted down, the air felt thick and slightly stifling. Just a weird sensation we all had. After it passed, the air went back to feeling light and cool, and the birds chirped. I'm sure some of us will be perusing the commentary and photographs from others in the days to come. For those who place their trust in the Lord there is no fear. We welcome His guidance, goodness and His justice.
