As-Suyootee رحمه الله said: “It is upon you my brother!! With following your Salaf As-Salih and to keep away from innovations and evil, so that you can be a righteous slave of Allaah. Ask your Lord for the capability, to be correct and to follow the correct Minhaj. Whoever, is given this provision then that will drive him to that which is beneficial. May Allaah provide us this with His favour and His Generosity, indeed Allaah is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy…” [Al-Amr Biliteeba Wa Nahi Un Il-Ibteeda', (No. 181)]

Al-Hafidh Ibn Hajr رحمه الله said: “Some of the Salaf were asked about the reason why it was that good deeds were burdensome to do and it was easy to carry out evil actions. They said: 'This is because the bitterness of good deeds is present and its sweetness is absent so it is burdensome, so do not let its burden cause you to leave doing good deeds.   As for evil deeds then its sweetness is present and its burden is absent and that is why it is easy to do them. So do not let its ease cause you to commit them.” [Fath Al-Bari, (13/614)]

Nasiha ! Private sins are one of the hardest struggles, and letting go of them isn’t easy. But if you keep asking Allah for strength, He will surely guide you through it. And once you do, you’ll see doors of success and blessings open in ways you never expected, in shaa'aLlah.

O Allah! Verily I seek refuge in You from poverty, scarcity, humiliation, and I seek refuge in You that I may oppress anyone or that I may be oppressed by anyone. Allāhumma innī a‘ūdhubika minal faqri wal qillati wadh dhillati wa a‘ūdhubika min an aẓlima aw uẓlama. [Sunan Abū Dawūd: 1544 Ṣaḥīḥ]

Imam al-Awza’i (d. 157 AH) said: “It has reached me that good deeds during the [first] 10 days [of Dhul Hijjah] are equivalent to a military expedition in the cause of Allah: its days are spent fasting, and its nights are spent guarding...” [Shu’ab al-Iman of al-Bayhaqi]

Advice from our Shaykh, Sulaymān al-Ruḥaylī from Ḥajj We are on the journey of a lifetime. We are guests of Allāh. Allāh has called us and chosen us from amongst millions of Muslims to be pilgrims this year. Today is the best Friday of the year since it's during the first 10 Days of Ḏhul Ḥijjah, so increase in making Duʿāʾ.

Ibn Ḥajr رحمه الله said: "A Friday that occurs in the 10 days of Dhū al-Ḥijjah is more distinguished to any other Friday of the year." [Fath al-Bārī on Sahih al-Bukhari by al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar al-‘Asqalani [969]

Take advantage of your Fridays and don’t treat it as a regular day or preparation for the weekend. The prophet ﷺ said, “The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday. Adam was created on Friday and on it he entered Paradise and on it he was expelled from therein. The Hour will not be established but on Friday.” [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 854] Benefits of Yawm al-Jum'ah: . Fajr with the congregation at the masjid . Surah kahf . Plenty of dhikr . Send abundance of salawat upon the prophet ﷺ . Istighfar . Dua throughout the day . Du’a between Asr and maghrib preferably last hour of asr

The Allaama Ibn Uthaymeen رحمه الله said: “Every time a person’s Eeman strengthens with the Qur’aan, then Allaah gives Yaqeen [certainty] due to the evidences of the Qur’aan which cannot be found in any other book. This is why I encourage you and my self to have complete concern for the Qur’aan, reciting it, reflecting upon it and acting upon it. Experience this for yourself, return to the Qur’aan in these matters and see what your heart acquires from Eemaan, delight of the heart, light of the heart and light on the face.” [Sharh Al-Kafi Ash-Shafi, (4/166)]

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said: “Everyone who calls to the same matter what the Messenger [ﷺ] came with is from his followers. Most definitely he will receive some harm from the followers of Shaytaan relative to his circumstance and their circumstance. Allaah's aid is sought.” [As-Sawaiq Al-Mursalah, (4/1393)]

Shaykh ul-Islaam Ibn Taymeeyah رحمه الله said: "Righteous actions, including fasting, in the (first) ten days of  Dhū al-Ḥijjah are more believed to Allāh than righteous actions in the last ten days of Ramaḍān.  Yet the people are heedless of the ten days of Dhū al-Ḥijjah. They pass and the people are upon their normals ways. You find no increase in reading the Qur'ān or other types of worship, rather some of them are even stingy with the takbīr." [الشرح الممتع ٤٧٠/٦]
