- What types of cracks can occur in structures?
- Describe the procedure to follow when a crack is found in a building. This was related to practical aspects, and I had studied it but didn't have much experience.
- Asked whether I had led any projects in college, to which I mentioned being the captain of my cricket team, showing some leadership experience. *(The discussion shifted towards technical aspects of cricket.)*
- Questions about the types of soils used in cricket pitches.
- How to make pitches that are spin-friendly and fast-bowling friendly.
- What is heavy rolling and light rolling in pitch preparation.
- When to use a particular type of rolling technique.
- A few more questions along these lines.
- Then, he asked about roller-compacted concrete. I was unsure, so I asked for permission to attempt it. I answered correctly. Then, he asked about the slump value for roller-compacted concrete. After this, the interview concluded.
Overall, the interview focused extensively on the practical aspects of civil engineering. There were only a couple of HR-related questions and a few related to the DAF (Detailed Application Form). | 353 |
